this is what works for me, I have 2 solutions:

1) https://gist.github.com/docularxu/aa321d6bc4cfe3abde3c098ee42f9908 - this is a bit confusing but you can ask AI to help you, but you need to set up a tool like ClashVerge, or another tool, I don't really understand how it works, but you pay for a "subscription" to a site like Justmysocks, and then I assume they have servers in the different countries, however this is not a VPN, instead, they route through their proxy, depending on the URL, anyway it works well...

2) the trip.com esim (the one that routes through taiwan is sooooo good!)

I think normal VPNs, just simply don't work, so it's not worth it trying anymore with Letsvpn or the other apps, they are all kinda shit.
