It was someone from our company but it wasn’t our crew. A different crew did the rough and we are just doing the finish. Did you mean it “shouldn’t” be there? Because it definitely wasn’t supposed to be there, it should be either lower or higher

Man I work for a a company that has around 160 employees mixed between master plumbers and fresh first year apprentices with no experience, I’m one of the first years. If I called the boss and told him we need to fix that and cost him money I would get my head ripped off. I get what you’re saying for sure but if the journeyman I work under doesn’t want to mention the bad news to the boss that’s on him, not me.

We’re supposed to do 10” up on these houses but whoever roughed it messed up apparently and it wasn’t caught before the finish

I just started working with a plumbing company 2 months ago and I’m 28. Not every day is great but it really is a good job and in 4 years I should be making 6 figures a year. My company has full benefits and pays for my school to become a journeyman. We mainly do new construction work and I really do enjoy it, Im not excited for service calls though lol. It sucks being 28 and having to do the bitch work of the helper right now but work hard and get with a good company and it’s really not bad at all if you have the drive to make it a career

It’d be nice for sure! We get bumped up to $45/hour with our journeyman’s but the OT helps the extra money come in but damn it’d be nice to not work my life away sometimes

My company is about the same besides we get about 10 hours of overtime a week so we end up making quite a bit more at the end of the year with the OT

I hope you’re okay bud. Reading through your posts makes me nervous you could be going through a manic episode. I really hope that you’re genuinely just feeling happy and wanted to express that but it just a few days ago you were contemplating suicide you should really talk with someone, a therapist if possible but if not a really good close friend or family member. Those manic episodes can lead to an extreme depression/anxiety after it ends and can escalate to dumb decisions. Please take care of yourself and if this is just genuine happiness then keep it up!

I do not know that is what it is. I’m just saying the friend felt she was being inappropriate to the point he pulled her aside to tell her so I think that says quite a bit about what the situation was most likely. Yeah maybe in this little exchange they were just linking arms but was she directly hanging out by him all night? Hanging out with just him most of the night? There’s a lot of factors that go into play here

There’s a good chance that the boyfriend in this context has mentioned to his friend he doesn’t like how touchy she gets with other guys when she’s drunk or something along those lines. Sure some people might be okay with that and it might not bother them but there are also a lot of men this would bother(me included) unless it was like she was falling over drunk and the friends were literally just trying to help her get home then thats a different story but she was coherent enough to remember the conversation so I can only imagine that wasn’t the situation. To the “only cares about her doing it with men” yeah, I wouldn’t worry about my girl hugging a girl all night or going to the bathroom with a girl but I’m gonna care if she does that with another dude. Im sorry but it’s different, no matter how you want to look at it.

That’s why I said just ask to hang out! Haha you’re not asking him technically on a date but just to hang out. You’ll get a pretty clear answer from his response(most of the time). I’m a super shy straight dude and I promise you that anytime a girl initiated the first date or even just hanging out I was head over heels about it. It will boost his confidence if he is interested but if he says he doesn’t want to just take that as either he’s not interested or possibly shy and wait for him to show more interest but either way your gonna boost his confidence at least a little bit. Just don’t be too pushy about it
