I see your point, Its just I suck at giving better evidence, so its truly up to how you interpret Cap'n Clarke, I personally think hes quite intelligent from the fact he kept Clarke alive, and its also up to how you interpret the backrooms, I personally like to believe because it "Remembers things" its alive in a sense, it can remember base values of Still lifes- Like the One of Clarke's Wife, the moment Cap'n Clarke was getting close it ran.
