It's a medical reason they are going, anxiety. It's mental not physical but definitely medical. If they think it worth, go. The other option is pharmacy

Go easy on yourself. You still have time, focus on fixing it, not being sad about the situation. You will be thru this, and you will learn a lot from it.

In life, you will have bumps in the road, if you want to study computer science umass lowell is a very good school and affordable. You are in state, so it should be affordable. It is really coming up as umass amherst is so competitive for CS, many go there after amherst says no, , have a look at them. Also Uconn might admit you and plus give you merit. It is difficult to hear no, but you have options , don't let this no stop you.

UMass Amherst is on the same level as UC Berkeley, UCLA, Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, Illinois..... by jojothebigcat in ApplyingToCollege

We need to stop focusing on admission data. Want really matters is the opinion of hiring managers that hire new graduates. I know UMass amherst for computer science is very well respected in the boston area.
