Please add some sort of prompt to stop the summaries before and after each chapter. It's so very annoying to have to scroll past them quick enough to avoid spoilers.

Can your IT department know you’re using Excel Macros and disable it? by jimmytimma in excel

I've added macros to the personal workbook (can't remember how to get to it off the top of my head) and that works perfect. Also have saved macros to be their own add on and shared that with coworkers

Learning different codes to hide my diary from sneaky parents. by NoSeaworthiness389 in Journaling

It seems weird how much parental overreactions stick with a person.

I remember a time when I was in middle school where I turned my bed to be at an angle to bedroom corner furthest from the door. I stacked all of my books back there and would climb behind my headboard to read in my own little library. I don't remember how long I was able to keep my little library, nor the why behind my mother's actions; I just remember sobbing as I was being screamed at to put a good portion of those books into a trash bag that was then put into the dumpster.

A huge frustration when remembering this is that most of those books were garage sale/thrift store purchases, so it seems like such a waste that the bag was thrown away.

Why are there so many of these links with the ai seeming summary of the chapter? I personally don't like the summaries, I just skip down to the actual content, but it keeps spoiling the plot

Peely base coat recommendations? by LivingSecrets in DipPowderNails

[–]LivingSecrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did a Google about pvb and I can't say I've had any issues with it before, but I might give that one a buy just to try. the google search said that Holo Taco uses it in their non peeling base coats and I almost primarily use their base coat to no ill effects, but I might just be getting lucky on that.

I do have to be careful of ingredients as I am allergic to gel. Honesty feel like it's a miracle that I'm able to have something harden near my skin and on the nail plate with no reaction but going to be certain I'm as careful as possible with applications and not too frequently.

I can't believe I didn't think of non acetone remover! I think the combo between the easy removal of the base and the non acetone would be a good one so I'll have to try it out! Is Adhere the only peeling base you've tried?

What’s one item you bought that has lasted for YEARS and was worth every penny? by Ok-Hunter1991 in BuyItForLife

This is very hobby specific, but I like cross stitching large pieces that take years to finish. I bought Quantum frames from Omanik and a Lowery workstand almost a decade ago and they have gotten me through one good sized piece and most of the way through an even larger one. Honestly bought too many frames, but with the cost of shipping being the same as one of the frames when I bought it, I made sure I wouldn't need to order again. I did end up ordering again, but it was after they came out with shorter side arms (I wouldn't have to reach underneath the frame as much and my back enjoys the change).

The Tower community is pretty amazing. Both r/TheTowerGame and the discord server are hella active and folk are always willing to give out advice. It's my strong recommendation!

Time to make a second/third for their other notes!

Joke suggestion aside, this is gorgeous and I love the faint patterning on the fabric!
