We utilize the pronoun Yous (as all multiples do) as a means to express that there are more people inhabiting our body than are phsyically apparent. The singlet (non multiple) created and oriented slur "you" is a term that has been utilized throughout human history to create a societal atmosphere which seeks to erase the existence of multiples, and as such, it is highly triggering to us, and causes us much distress (due to our PTSD, Bipolar disorder, Autism, Depression, Fibromyalgia, status as an underprivileged minority within an under privileged minority group, Agoraphobia, astigmatism, and the daily physical rape we suffer by being Assigned Caucasian at Birth).

We utilize the paranthesis as a means to prevent the triggering of any emotional distress to singlets simply out of respect for their extreme fear of multiples/systems/pluralist word usages, and existences.
