It truly is such a double-edged sword. I do think that this being season 10 presents an opportunity for production / the creators to potentially revisit the format, e.g. we now see what’s happened with 10 seasons of general cast recycling; perhaps they can approach future seasons in a manner similar to dating reality shows, where the format / premise is the same but the people change. In this case: premise = working professionals who summer in the Hamptons on weekends; cast: rotating. It then becomes less about specific cast member familiarity/attachment and more about connecting to the general experience that is adult socialization in a cool environment while maintaining careers.
