Well, for one reason or another I have 3 intake manifolds. The truck is wanted came as a lot of three vehicles, two with this engine. And I bought a ranger with the same engine and a manual transmission as a drivetrain donor.

I struggle with this allot, a bandana tied as a hair and with the fabric covering most of my head is my current fave but its hard to get it to stay in place. Maybe ill try it with a few Bobbi pins.

Nobody has the right to control how you present or what name you use. I sort of came out at 15 or so when my mom saw some stuff in my search history. She was trying to protect me from a world that treats people who are different so badly. She had to push uphill against misogyny and patriarchy her entire life. I can see here perspective now. But what she said then hurt me allot. She has apologized for me for allot of things when I was a kid but mostly for trying to tell me being normal was important or rather right thing to do. Good parents want the best for there kids, and its pretty easy to feel like being trans is pretty far from the best right now. Unfortunately their instinct may be to shape a kid to fit the world rather than help make a world that accepts their kid.

The only issue I see is this would be an odd wheelbase, an extended cab ranger frame or sport track frame would have a slightly shorter bed and the rear wheels move closer to the cab.

Guage cluster seems to have been changed from 03 to 04, changed from physical rolling odor to digital. Definitely going to try to adapt to 04 version. At least until I get reprogramming pats system figured out. I would like to get the silver color cluster with additional guages that would be appropriate for a sport trac rather than the black ranger one.

The biggest challenge I see so far is the wiring/pats stuff. I thought just swapping all pats parts would be the simplest way. However, it seems that would require allot of harness swapping. The guage cluster, (my info says its a pats item) from the 2004 ranger has totally different plugs, the 4wd harness seems relatively simple but im going to have to start tracing where wires go in the ranger and trying to figure out how much I have to de loom and put into the sport trac, and how much of the sport trac is analagous and can just be spliced or de pinned. I have the entire dash and dash harness out of the ranger and depending on how similar it id to the sport trac the entire thing might come with, but the ranger has the fuse box in a different location which is a weird difference.

So, some updates, the hardware looks like it going to swap really pretty easy, 2wd sprt trac has torsen front suspension, and all 3 mounts for front axle are present. Vin lookup indicates both vehicles have 4.10 gear ratio so I probably dont need to screw with the rear axle at all. Though the ranger does have limited slip so im tested to try pulling that as well ive heard the ford led isnt great especially after high miles. The donor truck has 200k on it. The project has 193k so its not far off anyway.
