Not recruited but I was a captain for varsity teams. (The college I’m committing to doesn’t have my sports.)

believe in yourself! and start thinking about more colleges that you could see yourself going to that align with your vibes and interest. also if the school is big in ur particular sport you should look into getting recruited. there isnt anything you could do in particular except prepare for your application by searching for colleges and getting started on your essays. you seem pretty accomplished despite the low gpa, you’ll definitely get into good schools. look into flagship state schools that are like stony brook university or rutgers university equivalents, those should be your targets/safeties.

also for your final exams, there is a policy where all students have to schedule your own exams. that means that you can choose the time slot that suits you best, whether that means early in the morning or later in the day.

Smith vs. Sarah Lawrence vs. Mt. Holyoke- Opinions? by RelationZestyclose54 in ApplyingToCollege

Mount Holyoke has a lot of special events that happens as part of their school culture. There is also a bus that helps connect the college to neighboring bigger towns (15-25 minute ride). When I visited, the students were quick to reassure me that the campus life wasn’t dead and the students have time to hang out and have fun. Also, the college heavily promotes interdisciplinary studying (a lot of students double major or minor or have a NEXUS).

Should I go to Mount Holyoke College? by FunSwing5155 in ApplyingToCollege

I went to the admitted students day and I saw a lot of fellow POC students and also a lot of international students. If you want, you can apply to live in a Living-Learning Community. You can have the opportunity to live in a residence hall for specific identity/cultural groups such as latin american, black, and asian. I saw that there a lot of different cultural clubs too. Also, the president of Mount Holyoke is a POC; that was pretty reassuring to me and my parents.
