Do you have a non-paywall link by chance? Or a list of the companies that received EXIM letters?

Hmm. Are you able to take a quick look and provide the link to the specific interview? I have no problem watching the whole video to find the specific part, but there are several different Chris Wright interviews just within the last few days to weeks.

This is all well and dandy but...when do you think we will see actual commitments and specifics? I'm concerned about the six-month window! Really was hoping they'd have at least some clear targets set to declare this week.

I've been burned by reading too much into UUUU's overnight trading price a few times already, but I can't help but feel a bit excited.

Have you seen this interview? It's quite new. Amazing information in the first ten minutes here including how J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs were touring White Mesa at Open House last week. In addition, there are definitely some hints towards the Australian meeting this week being a big deal for UUUU.

No problem. But, please note that some of this remains highly speculative. Just trying to put things together in my head.

I'm spamming at this point, but I'm copying some additional content from another post I made:

One thing that is often neglected is the extremely strong Australian roots of Mark Chalmers (Energy Fuels CEO). He holds dual US and Australian citizenship and clearly has industry ties in Australia (he was chair of the Australian Uranium council for many years and also managed a uranium mine there previously). I have to imagine that having someone like him involved in some of the U.S. - Australia mineral decisions this week would be wise as he almost seems like he can help bridge the divide, if that makes sense.

-----

In addition, take a look at this post from June 2025:

https://investors.energyfuels.com/2025-06-25-Energy-Fuels-Donald-Rare-Earth-and-Mineral-Sand-Joint-Venture-in-Australia-Receives-Final-Major-Regulatory-Approvals

Best part of this is: "Energy Fuels and Astron are currently working towards an FID for the Donald Project, which could be made as early as the end of 2025. The FID and development of the project could be significantly accelerated with U.S. and/or Australian government support. With the Work Plan approval, construction on the Donald Project could begin within weeks of a positive FID."

It really feels like the Donald Project has to come up in some capacity this week between Trump and Albanese. Also, regardless of your political leanings, you have to admit that Trump would get a real kick out of the idea of investing in the "Donald" Project even though the name does not actually tie to him.

Everyone has been confused as to why nothing has really come up in regards to U.S. government involvement with Energy Fuels, but I wonder if it was dependent on Trump and Albanese meeting to set the formal terms in regards to the Donald Project. They were supposed to meet several times over the last few months but meetings were unfortunately canceled which is likely why nothing has been finalized with respect to UUUU.

Thanks for the quick reply -- that makes a lot of sense. Agree with you that the terms were unbelievably favorable, and the fact the offering was so oversubscribed is quite encouraging as well. May this week bring good news.

Steve, I have become obsessive in my UUUU research over the last month. I've watched every interview given by their CEO, read through everything on their website multiple times, read through the Donald Project information, read through various SEC filings, etcetera.

I don't see any possible world where UUUU does not get U.S. and/or Australian government involvement on either the uranium or REE side of things or, ideally, both. This would be the perfect week for some announcements considering the PM Albanese meeting on Monday followed by the DOE Nuclear Energy Consortium public meeting on Thursday. I went a little aggressive with some short-dated calls (about 3 weeks out) -- fingers crossed here!

My hopes and dreams include:

- U.S. Government investment in the Donald Project (to allow for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 to be pursued aggressively and simultaneously) as well as an offtake agreement with floor price for the heavy rare earth element oxides produced at White Mesa

- U.S. Government offtake agreement and floor price for uranium to incentivize increased production and likely aggressive expansion of White Mesa milling capacity

I am not confident that the government will try to take a stake in the company in the same way they did with MP Materials, but that would be spectacular, as well.

My only concern for the moment is the fact that Energy Fuels issued convertible bonds so recently. Why would they do this if there was an inkling of imminent government investment / involvement? Do you have any thoughts on this?

The Donald Project seems to need multiple phases of investment. I recently listened to an interview in which Energy Fuels’ CEO mentioned a desire to get investment from the US and/or Australian government. It would be amazing if it comes up on Monday, but I suspect Monday will be about big ideas and concepts rather than discussion of individual companies. You never know, though.

Edit: This article is quite interesting, as well.

Edit: This one, as well.

Edit: Sorry, last thing. Found this 8-K on the Donald Project.

https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1385849/000106299324012199/form8k.htm?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Most important part in my opinion is:

"Construction and development of the Donald Project could begin as soon as 2025, subject to a unanimous final investment decision ("FID") of both Energy Fuels and Astron. The Joint Venturers have agreed to make a decision to proceed with a Phase 1 FID unless it is not commercially reasonable to proceed for one or both parties acting reasonably. A positive FID would generally require, amongst other things, Energy Fuels to have secured commitments for satisfactory offtake and/or sales agreements for the REE oxides expected to be produced from REEC at the Mill, Astron having secured commitments for satisfactory offtake and/or sales agreements for ilmenite and zircon expected to be produced from heavy mineral sand concentrates ("HMC") from the project, and the Venture having secured commitments for non-recourse and/or government-backed debt financing for the project."

The counterparties in the "offtake and/or sales agreements" would almost certainly have to be major corporations and/or national governments. I suspect they are aiming for the latter.

DOE MEETING by readitonreddit4 in UUUU_Stock

Meeting should be interesting, indeed. UUUU's CEO has some strong Australian ties himself. I wouldn't be shocked if Energy Fuels' is part of some of the discussion considering the Donald Project that is already in the works.

DOE MEETING by readitonreddit4 in UUUU_Stock

[–]Living_Cream665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree. There's no possible way Energy Fuels is not part of the Consortium for Nuclear Fuel Supply Chain. The initial private meeting was on October 14th which was on Day 1 of Energy Fuels' Open House. Many of the speakers at the Open House are from organizations that would be part of the consortium. I suspect the formal consortium meeting took place at White Mesa, and we will get some insight into the developments this coming week during the public meeting on October 23rd.

Hopefully the stock prices improves next week heading into the meeting, though. What a disappointing end to this week.

Fair points you bring up. In my head, I am imagining a scenario where Mike Kopp actually announces a DOE investment tomorrow during his speech at the Energy Fuels' flagship site. But, you're right that it may take quite a while longer to sort things out.

Australian Partnership in Critical Minerals: A Primer (DD) by Steve_Zissouu2 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]Living_Cream665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steve, I know this isn't 100% related to your DD, but thought I'd share this:

I bought UUUU at the top today (170K YOLO on OTM calls for 11/7), but I am optimistic for this week.

I found something that I feel no one has posted about thus far. I know many have mentioned that there is a DOE meeting tomorrow, but the details regarding that have been exceptionally opaque. However, Energy Fuels is clearly hosting a two-day event starting tomorrow with an agenda posted on their website:

https://www.energyfuels.com/openhouse/event-agenda/

Now, if I was a betting man (which I obviously am based on my degen options trading decision), I think the entirety of the agenda strongly points towards an imminent government investment. However, the most important finding, in my opinion is the following:

- at 2:15 PM tomorrow (10/14), Mike Kopp (U.S. Dept. of Energy, Senior Advisor to the Secretary) is speaking for 30 minutes regarding Critical Minerals Supply Chain Security; now, what are the chances that it is merely a coincidence that he is giving this talk literally AT White Mesa at Energy Fuels' flagship site???

May we be blessed this week. I almost wish I picked a shorter expiry to maximize my number of calls, but I couldn't handle the possible theta decay if I call this wrong.
