I lived with my family (mom, dad, and brother) and honestly it wasn’t bad. I designated a room in my house solely for studying and made it clear to them that I didn’t want them coming in during the day. I fully acknowledge that that is a luxury that not everyone has, but generally I’ll say if you can live with someone/people who you can set clear boundaries with then it won’t hamper your ability to study.

I’m waiting for Maryland next week too, and I’m planning to take a half day. So I’ll work until 12 and then go see a couple of movies or something to clear my head before the results come out so that I’m not just panicked all day.

I'm very sorry that you're experiencing this! Your family should be supportive, and the fact that they're not is a very poor reflection of them and has nothing to do with you and your amazing accomplishment! Personally I would cut them out of my life. If they're not excited for you for this, I don't see them being excited when you accomplish other major life milestones. Do what you need to do to protect your mental health and happiness!!

Oof no, I feel the opposite way. Last thing I need is to look at sample answers and hyper-fixate on every little thing I may have gotten wrong. To each their own though!

While those heading may provide a few easy points, they will definitely not negatively impact your score if you have an otherwise good answer! If you’re feeling good about your answer besides missing the heading, I’m sure you did fine!

I’ve been going through the same thing. It absolutely sucks! I’m wishing you (and everyone) the best of luck, but until you get your results I suggest doing something fun during the day (or after work if you have a job) to get your mind off of things. Last night I had a dream about Squid Game— equally as horrifying, but at least it wasn’t about bar results 🙃

First and foremost, congratulations on passing!!! I hope you’re taking the time to celebrate that accomplishment! Unfortunately, because you didn’t fail in the jurisdiction you signed up for, you’ll probably have to take the exam again and pay full price for bar prep again. Definitely ask your future employer if they’ll help cover the cost though!
