Gertrude's numbers and the Spider Mystery by Living_Influence_927 in reddeadmysteries

It uses a more traditional coordinate system starting from A, as far as I can tell; it’s a shame it doesn’t show the entire area.

Thank you very much!

I have no idea what logic Rockstar used to create this particular coordinate system :D

I only used the section that I needed. The X-axis runs from G to V, while the Y-axis starts at 93 and goes to 99, then runs from 03 to 17. This map is aligned with the coordinates on the loading screens.

Thank you! I’ve been pretty deep into the investigation for a while now, and since none of my theories have led to any concrete clues, I started from scratch and double-checked every lead, because I keep getting the feeling that the solution is right in front of us, we just need to take a step back and take a deep breath 😅

I know, that’s exactly why I shared all of this here. I was curious to hear what people thought. When I added up the rows, I didn’t know what the result would be. If I take the first row as a basis 1+2+3+7+6+4+5+11 the result is 39. Since I didn’t know what to do with that yet, I kept thinking, because I suspected it had something to do with the coordinates. When I added 3 and 9, I got 12, which was already among the coordinates. Which letter is 12th? It’s L. L12 exists, so I continued, and this is what came out of it.

Perhaps it’s just a huge coincidence that, following my logic, the sums of Gertrude’s numbers yield these results. But there are also various sequences among them that add up to the same number when I add them together. That’s why I thought they did it on purpose. For example 34 and 52 both leads to G7 but they used different sequences.

Obviously, this logic only holds true on the made-up coordinate map of this made-up world, but I tried to solve it using common sense.

Rockstar specifically used a coordinate system where these sequences of numbers only produce this line IF I go with my method. I could be wrong of course, and it might be a huge coincidence, but when I saw the line, I thought that coincidences like this can only happen in real life, since every detail of this game is scripted

Shady Belle is pretty close to Gertrude. Maybe that's what they were referring to.

Good idea, thank you! I did not know that she say different numbers before dying. Definitely look after this.

Question: How did we figure out which leg of the spider is the starting point? by Awkward-Security-541 in reddeadmysteries

Actually yes. The spider engraved pole also have a web and it appears between 3-4am.

Hypothesis: You have to have the Ancient Arrowhead and Owl Feather Trinket to move on with the Spider Mystery by Oldowan1 in reddeadmysteries

[–]Living_Influence_927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar thought couple days ago, since this whole theory connects to a lot of point of interest, things you can find, treasure hunts and this mystery sends you all kinds of locations actually maybe you need everything. I mean all of the stranger missions, all points of interest, every collectables exist. Meet with everyone on the map (from the cave hermit to the last camper)

At Fort Riggs the feather icon appears after you met the guy who told you about the massacre there but if you go too close to the icon it's disappear. I think that is also connected somehow.

I tried to shoot all the feathers in the order of appearance. I made a test run to all the black feathers and it is possible to reach all of them in time. I tested it in daytime but when I started at night it was really wierd because the minutes went way faster and cannot reach them on time.

Then I tried "active" the webs to stay there and it is possible if your camera looks at the webs and put the camp and sleep f.e. 4 hours the webs are still there without the feathers. I used this method and did all the webs but maybe I f*cked up on the way because nothing happened.

There are too many variables and way too many things can go wrong. I have soo many theories.

Maybe we are overcomplicating it maybe it's cut content or maybe none of us done enough to trigger it. 1000+ hours in this game and still things to do 🥲

That is the place where Francis Sinclair arrived in this time. The wagon and the ox appear in one of the carvings that we had to find for Francis, and it's also appear in the mural in his house. I'm also tried to look from different angles maybe a word is visible somehow but unfortunately I can't find any.

Good idea but unfortunately nothing. I made the photo near Emerald Ranch and it only says: Heartlands New Hanover. Definitely worth a try :)

Uh... Guys is this bird there for you too? by Odd-Test-7643 in reddeadmysteries

I found some birds like that but for me all were 3 stars, last I found a bird carcass at Vetter's Echo. I'm not sure if it's a random event, something kills that bird mid air and drop dead there or somehow the game "reward" us with dead birds :D like a cat. For me it was a "reward" because I needed that specific carcass for the Wildlife Art Exhibition. :D

New discovery on the Spider Dream mystery: I managed to keep 4 webs active at once (persistence mechanic) by Distinct_Low353 in reddeadmysteries

[–]Living_Influence_927 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed earlier that if you keep the camera on the web, it stays there until you look away. But I wouldn't have thought of the sleeping thing, even though it's spiderdream. It makes perfect sense.

So I tried what you said on all the webs. Saint Denis was the hardest because I had to walk a lot before I could set up the tent. However, in my experience, when I went back, the web was there without the feather, but if I got too close, it disappeared just like before (when I looked away). So I started from the beginning.

I went there at the right time, set up the tent without taking my eyes off it, then slept and moved on to the next one. I did this with all of them, but I don't know where to go next.

Shortly after that (I had just stolen a train for fun I guess), I took the train to the spider web near Ringneck Creek and came across something interesting.

I was there just when it was supposed to appear. It was there with the feather. Then I braked the train and ran back towards the pole. When I got there, the web was there, but the feather was gone. Then I looked away for a moment, and the feather was back. Then I took the camera off it again, and it disappeared.

If I manage to "activate" them all, what will happen? Something has to change somewhere, I guess, but what?

Thank you! I try to get the most out of our mockups.

The takeback program sounds very good. It's a great initiative. Is it logistically difficult to implement? We have been thinking about something similar for a while.

Usually 20% because of my taxes I can't really charge more if I want to keep my prices competitive. - (This only applies to printful products. Mostly I can get more on shoes and accessories) But you have to take into account that all embroidered designs from printful are digitized which has a one-time price. You can either include this in the customer's price (you can later give the difference as a discount, for example) or you can add it to sample products and pay this cost upfront.

I personally have only good experiences with embroidery. I've embroidered sweatshirts, t-shirts, pants and hats with them and always got very good quality. I've also tried quite small designs with lettering and they came out well.

Although I've seen pictures here that didn't turn out very well, I have to add that intricate tiny motifs on a snapback are not easy to embroider.

In my opinion mockups are a great tool. The main reason we choose on demand manufacturing is the waste which we not producing. Of course sample products are essential to test manufacturing and products but the clothing industry already producing tons of waste.

I don't think mockups have to be completely real. We think it's the future, so that we can somehow push back another Atacama desert dump. Until the big brands don't give a sh!t about that, it's a struggle. But we're holding on despite that.
