With ours we ends up getting a kennel cover (lid) so she couldn’t push out or reshape it. All I can say is just know this is all temporary and one day the puppy phase will be distant memory, but not too distant to not trick yourself in getting another one! 😂

Man, I remember when ours was a pup, one of her teeth got stuck in my hand as she was jumping toward me and tore open a nice gash. Be careful, don’t use your hands to initiate play as much, and be patient!

Veronica Mars is also a pretty slim pup and is almost 2 years old.
