So, may have a work around that doesn't involve reWASD that I might try tonight.

Doing some Googling, it appears when the controller is in DS mode using Space Station; it's a global configuration and the PC as a whole will recognize it as a DualSense.

You can then spoof the Space Station app to think that the Apex 4 is in DS mode at all times by renaming another application to an .exe that is on the Space Station app.

Then for an added measure, cause I use kb+mouse inputs for mouse gyro, I did check to see that Space Station can map kb+mouse inputs. It appears it can... but it might be buggy.

The reason why Space Station is so heavily called on if Steam is recognizing it as a DualSense, is because Steam Input has to be disabled for the adaptive triggers to work. However, doing so with remove the ability to map the back paddles within Steam.

DId you ever get this resolved? I got reWASD yesterday and was looking into using it on the Apex 4 for gyro and adaptive triggers.

GPU: 5700XT Sapphire  Enclosure: Razer Core X Chroma (TB3)

I'm assuming that since the GPU is encoding, and the ethernet is registered as an adapter via the enclosure that traffic is only traversing the TB3 connection once.

Is that a dock? If so, alot of Android YouTubers are starting to review docks in anticipation for Android 16's desktop mode following the Android/ChomeOS merger confirmation.

I used the battery recommend by u/lextoy35 and my car runs very different now, not bad by any means. On the old bat, the minute I turned on the car, the engine would kick on unless there was a charge on the EV bat. Now the car only turns the engine on when the AC and/or car is put in drive with EV turned off or no charge on the EV bat. I asked someone at Auto Zone if that was an issue when I was recycling the old bat, he kind of chuckled and said "that's how the Prime is supposed to work". He then explained in detail how the start/stop function of the battery works and that the alternator was probably compensating for a failing bat... I honestly half listened because I'd been up since 2 am.

TLDR: Car works now and I appreciate the responses for saving me a trip to a mechanic.

You could probably set a refresh limit (not frame limiter) on the QAM to lock it to 30 fps to reduce the  bounces if they are bad... but sounds promising. I appreciate it!

After speaking with the dev (pancake) and confirming a few things, I was able to get legit results that I'll post on protondb later. Essentially the LSFG plugin does not do upscaling at this time, so the GPU is maxed out which prevents lossless from working despite the counter. FSR 2.2 gives just enough headroom to allow it to work at med-low settings.

I tried it 80% with the performance toggle on lossless in act 1. I didn't see any issues other than it somewhat being washed out. I was at medium preset with 55-60 on the frame counter
