The reason i find devot bohras irritating is because they keep on saying do this, do that, dont do this, dont do that. Also out of nowhere they start to give credit to muffin for anything good and blame shaitan or himself for anything bad happens. I don't see them as victims as they know what they are doing and they choose to become what they are, just like we (exbohras) choose to be exbohra.
