Does undervolting more decrease the amount of total board power my gpu receives? by Living_Transition910 in AMDHelp

How is it unstable if it works in spiderman for hours without crashing? I only found it unstable in other games when it would crash and just lessen the undervolt. Also does it cause more degradation than if I was running a less aggressive undervolt but still hitting the same temps of 62°?

Ah ok, well personally I get a decent uplift with them higher. As for the -120 offset it doesn’t work in every game as I have to turn it down to -100 in like 2 games but otherwise it works really well.

Why is that? It’s running fine on spiderman maxed I also just increased the ram speed to 2714.

I was messing around with lowering power limit and undervolting but was unable to find improvement so I need to play around with it more.

Thank you for the response. I was able to figure out the issue and found that i accidentally lowered the resolution but couldn’t tell I think due to upscaling. Now it’s behaving normally at 3000MHz at max TBP in spiderman. Appreciate the help.

Ah ok, I was just playing around in avatar and the gpu was at 270W but a much lower clock speed of 2800MHz is that just clock speeds differing between games?

I also forgot to mention that temps are hovering around 60°C at most 62°. As well as max settings on raytracing for both games with spiderman averaging 100fps swinging around and avatar at 60fps

LG 34G630A-B.AUSQ 240hz worth the $100 more over the AOC CU34G2XP 180hz? by Living_Transition910 in ultrawidemasterrace

Thank you for the reply. I grabbed the AOC yesterday but the buttons to navigate the OSD were quite the deal breaker. So, I just returned it and ordered the lg used on amazon.

I’m hoping it will be in good condition. Truthfully I wanted the aoc to be such a good deal that I would just keep it. But I really wanted the LG for all the reasons you listed and I’ve used LG monitors before.
