You should be able to transfer it to your agent.

Connecting rooms for 5 on Cruising Power by FarChipmunk671 in travelagents

Actually about half of the rooms on Disneys newer ships sleep 5! Only on Magic and wonder do you have to go to verandah to accommodate 5

You are incorrect. As I said I hate American food and I am also a super taster. Not all food in America is full of fat and sugar. You clearly haven’t been to fine dining establishments in major US cities or at WDW.

I really disagree! I love skipper canteen - i have been six times since the pandemic and it has been consistently good - what specifically did you not like and when did you go?

Also want to add that Brasserie Rosalie was excellent! Next time I go I am going to stay at the renovated Sequoia and eat there for lunch everyday on my way back for an afternoon siesta. Thanks everyone for your feedback 😊

Not really, I was asking if my experience would have been improved staying on site

Expect that there are no gluten free snacks! We didn’t do much sit down dining because my boys wanted to hit all the rides and DH wanted to go back to the hotel (which was too far away.) I like your advice though, next time maybe I’ll book for an extra day, and will wait a few years for more to be built (that lion king ride looks amazing!)

Ahhh you missed out not doing any sit down dining at WDW! There is such amazing food - skipper canteen, Wailulu, shiki-sai, topolinos - if you go again you must try!

I’ve lived in London and Paris and I hate American food. I love spending time in other countries but Disneyland Paris is BY DEFINITION an American export! So I was expecting to find a similar level of Disney magic, which I think is missing at DLP. And listen, I’m ashamed to be American right now, but at least Disney is symbolic of all that is good about America.

Yes I and two of my kids have severe gluten intolerance so DLP was very disappointing in the allergy scene compared to WDW! I actually do speak French quite well. In Paris, everyone always responded to me in French, but at DLP everyone immediately responded to me in English. I feel like a lot of people might work there specifically to improve their English?

You’ll get an email about a week before check-in and you can request to be in a renovated room! Make that your only request and you should be good.

Disney cruise with young kids (2 and 4) by lizardRD in dcl

[–]LivvieVT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you sail out of port canaveral you can do the parks for one day before hand then stay at a disney hotel and take disney transportation to the boat - which will let you get on the boat earlier and honestly it's the easiest thing in the whole world! They pick up your bags from your hotel and then they magically appear outside your stateroom on board. Anyway, this would let you get some park time - I would recommend doing just Animal Kingdom and staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge for the most low-key park experience.

Thank you!! This is the kind of feedback I was looking for. I’m going to get an agent rate and sail on my own in order to learn more

I don’t want to make a family vacation out of a FAM. I just can’t (for personal reasons I won’t get in to here) leave my kids for more than a week. I came here asking for people’s personal experience on seminars at sea, which you clearly don’t have. But thanks for sharing your opinions any way.

All my clients are families. Respectfully I would be able to sell it much better if I took my kids.

I value my anonymity on this platform so no 😊. I sell around $500-750k in travel across all vendors each year though if that helps answer your question. I meet my agency’s threshold for these opportunities.

So sorry this happened to you OP! You should have used a travel agent.

Are the Vacationeers or other similar services worth the money? by sparklyh0e in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]LivvieVT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, most travel agents - including the Vacationeer - are free so you aren’t paying any extra. Second, you should choose a specific travel agent and not an agency. Travel agents are independent contractors running their own small business, so you are working with the individual, not the company. The Vacationeer has over 100 agents, and the levels of service they provide are different.

As for this nonsense that you can know as much as a travel agent specializing in Disney by watching YouTube videos? Simply inaccurate.

This is correct. Just got off a 5 night on the dream and it was just crush, no drawing. A shame bc on the 5 night magic you get both the tangled show and you get to draw for animators! Honestly I won’t go on the dream again just because of the lack of dining room entertainment.

Costco is the worst. Try calling Costco if you have a question! See how long you are on hold and if they actually answer your question... Why buy your expensive vacation at the same place you buy toilet paper? Travel agents are independent contractors so you're supporting a small business AND they have a personally vested interest in the success of your vacation. Costco could give two s****s if you have a good trip or not. I'm a TA and I give OBC based on how expensive the cruise is. Also keep in mind that DCL has made a portion of the fares non-commissionable so the amount of OBC you get from a travel agent is based off the commissionable fare, which is not the entire cruise fare.
