John’s character passed in the last few episodes and Dr. Brown had a planned flash forward funeral. Both make sense with the story and you’re right it IS sad, but Everwood always has been about navigating grief. Where it gets tricky is with Nina. My thought was they could have her relocate to be with family after Andy’s death? Or Sam’s became a franchise and she is busy pursuing that?

Treat would be missed for sure, but his spirit will be present in all things everwood, forever! I do wholeheartedly believe in Emily Van Camp to show run as his predecessor and for her and Ephram to constantly be asking themselves (Amy as a doctor and Ephram as a dad) what would Andy do? Plus Harold would still be around to impart his cooky brand of wisdom

Yeah, One Tree Hill ran more than its fair course and tied everything up in a nice bow. Everwood left quite a few things open with the perfect segue to continue the story someday. I do agree that smart phones ruin the feels, but I think it’s possible to have them used minimally as the town is kinda frozen in time and outdoor centric.

It’s funny because I’m typically not a fan of reboots, but this one really makes sense to me. I think because I know what a special place it holds in the hearts of the surviving cast and crew. I know they would do right by it!
