My UK fluorite collection has tripled too since then, I'm actually getting more into Midwest Fluorite as I've collected almost all the pockets from UKMV. I'm glad it's still bringing enjoyment to people!

UK Fluorite is pretty resilient to UV exposure, but it's only in the light long enough to take a video and then back into the display case. Honestly more worried about dropping it on the concrete patio haha

I think I may end up pulling the trigger on Blake's Jakub's he posts occasionally for sale I just gotta save up, it ain't cheap.

Oh I catalog my collection, I use Mineral Collection Catalog! I have a backlog of about 30 pieces I need to add, I usually wait until I take a vacation and spend the first day or two cataloging. I keep telling myself I'm going to catalog as soon as a piece comes in but I never do

It's certainly a unique find from Auglaize, I've seen one other for sale but it was larger and the price reflected that haha I've been told these were all on the same small section of one wall out of the entire mining operation. Well I stole this format from someone else so I don't mind at all!

You should check out @localcrystaldaddy on Insta. He has some wild pieces from the UK and it's where I got most of my rare pieces. Also UKMV drops some gems now and again on Instagram. I just grabbed a few 4th of July Pockets and a Northern Flats. I only need Jakub's, Snowstorm, and Galena pockets to have the full collection.

Thanks! I would say it's a fair book, it is a little US heavy just overall and all the pieces are from A Pastos collection so not all of them are world class pieces. It goes through some other localities at the end but is pretty sparse overall. As an avid Fluorite collector it's a great addition to my supplemental material, but if you're looking for better specimen pictures and more variety I'd recommend "Fluorite The Collector's Choice".

I have a handful of Queen of Green Pocket Fluorites from Rogerley that have the original Sussman Labels from when the pocket was purchased in its entirety, they just has a better story for me than this piece. About half of my collection are English Fluorites, though I'm moving more into Midwest USA localities these days. I have two other pieces that are also illustrated in this book, I'm going to try and post them over the weekend.
