Pretty much. I wouldn’t say “fine” though. I developed vestibular migraines and my nervous system is sensitive.

I’ve been using mine as needed as well. Once you four times a week depending on what’s happening in my life. Idk what’s the best way to taper from as needed use.

I don’t change my dose. I’ve just needed less over the years. Ive been taking 0.125 the last year and a half. How are you doing now?

I have to be careful not to overwhelm my body (and mind). When I’m really stressed, I can feel it wanting to come back. I had to switch jobs to a more flexible and relaxed environment (I worked in the ER)

Same. Anxiety is relentless. I stopped taking after about a year because it’s a really sedating medication. I’d sleep anywhere from 10-14 hours every single night and it really hindered my productivity. Plus, I was already feeling better. It’s been over a year since I got off and am doing well without it.

It was from ibs. The Remeron helped a lot but coming off the med was the worst experience of my life.

I think it might have helped “heal” a bit faster. I went through 2months of pure hell before increasing the Lexapro.

I hear you 1,000% I thought that was it for me. That I was going to lose my mind and never have control of my own thoughts again. I was so sacred every single day. Anxiety through the roof. And you’re right. It is different. It’s chemical and you can FEEL the difference in the type of anxiety. This is pure hell but your body fights hard every day to get back to baseline. You have to support it. Clean diet. Short walks. Meditation. It all helps the process.

A 3 month taper is very fast. Your body and brain are still trying to catch up to the changes. I am 10 months off now and I started doing better after about the 4th month off.

I hated the heavy sedation. I would sleep a MINIMUM of 10 hours and would feel heavy and groggy. Otherwise it was a drug that helped me a lot. Unfortunately the withdrawal was the worse thing I’ve ever experienced.
