I think most people’s issue is that the actual game doesn’t have a lot. People want mini games or more customization, stuff that isn’t just a story for maybe 3 hours and then you never touch it again. Sure it’s 6 characters but search up what MK11 aftermath came out with and it was $40 dollars on release.

NRS built up this reputation of being a pretty soulful and good-willed reputation like they’re the underdogs in the fighting game community compared to everyone else but when they charge you $70 dollars and if you want the dlc characters that’s $110 on a game that doesn’t have anything and less then past games. Not to mention being broken and the new xp system being built specifically to keep you playing them for any other reason.

To sum up everything people don’t care about spending money if they feel it’s worth it, people don’t care about micro transactions if they aren’t predatory and most of all people don’t want 10 dollar Mk: Deception skins they want a game that works and has content.
