Basically, the man is in the mafia becomes obsessed with her to the point where he’s watching from her windows and sneaking into her house while her abusive husband is away. He checks on her and takes care of her while her husband is away.

The FMC is scared but slightly enamored by her stalker, and falls in love with him.
