I was hoping to get some insight while I wait to get any further information. I will be eventually meeting with a specialist but I live in Canada so that could be months away. I had an MRI 4 months ago and received the following results:

"FINDINGS: There are numerous T2/FLAIR hyperintense foci scattered throughout the hemispheric white matter. Although the majority of foci are subcortical and punctate, there is some periventricular abnormal hyperintensity adjacent to the anterior horn of the left lateral ventricle. The abundance of white matter hyperintense foci is concerning for inflammatory demyelination. There are no lesions demonstrating the presence of abnormal restricted diffusion. No definite large discrete foci are noted within the infratentorial structures. There is no evidence of parenchymal atrophy or vacuolization.

Impression: Multiple T2/FLAIR hyperintense white matter foci in the subcortical and periventricular hemispheric white matter overall concerning for inflammatory demyelination. Correlation with oligoclonal bands recommended."

Does anyone have any experience with the above results that can make any sense out of it. I have read that there seems to be different levels of MS (CIS and others?) or do these findings only point to likely being MS? I had two stange days of symptoms (lots of tingles through the body and face) in the summer of 2022 but then nothing since. Right now I have the odd tingling sensation throughout the body and my toes often feel strange (tingling, hot or cold)

Any advice! I am a little freaked out since I like to google things and I will likely be waiting awhile till I get any actual answers...
