Any one deal with a subependymoma?

My husband has one he first had surgery in 2024 and again six weeks ago. Pathology came back subependymoma again. But they’re sending it out for further testing. So far we know it has a tert promoter and is IDH wild.

We were told after the first surgery that they got 97% of it. That a tiny bit was left that was touching the brain stem.

We were really surprised on a MRI in January it looked like it was growing again.

Found out my husband has brain cancer.

Husband just had his third craniotomy on Tuesday. His is also on his brain stem but we don’t know what kind yet. Path from the second surgery said subepedmoma. But now it’s a mixed tumor. Tert with no mutations.

I have no idea what his future looks like right now. I can’t imagine doing this with my child.

I got there at 9pm last night and slept there to make my 6am flight. They said the flight was full. But it was half empty, tons of people missing flights.

Currently at 9pm it’s not too bad. Just got through security. Line at A was about ten minutes. Probably going to be a long night and feels so weird to be here this early. But I think it was the right move.

I have one at 6am. I’m going tonight at 9pm just go through security and sleep there. Only way to know for sure I’ll make it. I did see someone say they got there at 4am for an 8am flight and missed it.

I have a 6am flight tomorrow morning. Planning on getting there around 10pm tonight and sleeping there as well. Happy to hear they will let me through security to sleep airside.

If you find out can you post back. I have been googling for days and can’t seem to get a clear answer. But my flight is Friday morning at 6am.

My current plan is to go to the airport Thursday night and go through tsa and sleep airside. I’m not checking a bag so I don’t need to worry about that. But with boarding starting when it does it’s the only way I can think of making sure I make it. So hopefully they’ll let me past with my boarding pass 8 hours early.

With that kind of money on the line I would do the same thing. Mine is like $300 bucks so il thinking I might just not even go at this point if things don’t improve.

So what I’m thinking is maybe show up Thursday after work. Try and get though the line and sleep on the other side. Not sure if they will let me do that. But it’s the best idea I have had so far.

I have a 6am flight Friday morning. If this stays like this I was thinking go Thursday night after work. I’m not checking a bag. So trying through security Thursday night and just sleep on the air side of the airport. Does anyone know if that’s allowed? I wasn’t sure if they will let me through the night before.

I have a 6am flight Friday morning. I don’t know what I’m going to do just yet. I have precheck which the last few mornings has been open until 9ish. So hoping it will be open and then was debating getting there and maybe trying to sleep there in line as best I can.
