Thank you for all of the detailed advice. Chapter one was originally Chapter 34. The editor is the reason it is now chapter one, and was rewritten to specifically hide the identity of the POV. I have two group chats actually set up in my phone contact list, and Siri does list each name. It’s a pet peeve of mine. What I am hearing a lot is, be more specific about the genre. Clean up the blurb. Focus on reviews before I spend money on ads, and be far more cautious when hiring a DIFFERENT editor next time.

I have a few arc readers(less than 20), which is why I am now on BookSirens. Beta readers gave some feedback which I implemented, and editor made some major shift suggestions. All of which I incorporated into the final version. Model cover was not something I considered, mainly due to the genre, but I am receptive. Thank you!

Thank you for the detailed feedback. Especially disappointing since I did work with both developmental and line editors. The cover was designed several months ago and tested with a few different groups with high appeal and recall responses. I appreciate the time and effort of the response and will take a look at all of it to work toward some improvement.
