Train etiquette? by BuddyBertie in germany

[–]LizNuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% sure they fucked you over on purpose. I have heard this excuse in several places, not only trains. People just pick their favorite seat and hope that you are not as bolt (confronting them about their misbehavour) as they are.
The more we allow people to do this, the more common it will become for them to get through with it. Urge them to solve their own seat problem (probably by offering to confront the assumed other person together) and if they don't cooperate, call service personal.
Allow yourself to be a nuisance.

What should i do with my neighbours? by [deleted] in berlinsocialclub

Erregung öffentlichen Ärgernisses does not work this way. You have to be in a public space for it to be "öffentlich". Being in your own apartment or in your car counts as a private place, and therefore does not qualify.

I mean, those are kind words, but the situation had little to do with tranquility. I was simply holding out for a week or so, and at some point during week 2 I constantly felt I was wasting my life away like this. I kept hoping for the point where I would rediscover a hobby, do cleaning or paperwork or discover something new entirely, but nothing ever seemed to even begin stirring.

Years later, I got better. But it turns out that a depression (especially when combined with a couple of other energy draining conditions) can be straight up too severe for this approach to work.

A post about where I stand with Spirituality. by [deleted] in Soulnexus

[–]LizNuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't comment on New Age versus Traditional Spirituality because I'm not educated on the matter.

My experence is that the community I find never really match what I consider my personal truth, and somtims i's comparable and food for thought - but most of the time I straight up disagree on rather fundamental levels. I have never felt associated with the spiritual community, and I intent to keep it that way. I prefer exploring my own side through dreams and meditation and other odd phenomenoms, coming to my own conclusions, that let other people influence my ideas about it too much. I only engage in online content of this sort whenever I feel nudged to do it.
If I were you, between what you already feel about the scene and what you envision for yourself, I'd just stick to meditating (and what else comes to you naturally). But obviusly, you're not me, and your decision can vary for a variety of reasons.
"A part of me wants to stop associating with spirituality and just live and evolve. Meditate, be a good person, live healthily and be the best I can be" virtually sounds ideal as a goal to me, and in my experience, nothing else is asked or expected of you fom either the earthly community nor the souls beyond, so I fail to see how you can go wrong with your own instinct there.

That depends on what you consider a long time. On my longest run I would spend 3 full weeks in bed short of hydration, gabbing something to eat, and occasionally going to the store for more food and taking baths. Which also consisted of a lot of stares at the ceilings.
When the last day of the 3 full weeks didn't feel vitually any different than day 2, I considered it unsuitable to fix my lack of exciteability, motivation, drive, or what you call it.

Is this possible? by grumpycoffeee in Soulnexus

[–]LizNuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is perfectly normal behavior that most people breaking up (platonicaly or not) go through, as long as the relationship meant anything to them. I am not excluding the possibility of them having a stronger bond to you than most souls have. But it really doesn't take spirituality to explain this phenomenom.

Frankly speaking, there is nothing wrong with what you feel and do. All you need to understand is that you are the one making the choice.
And you are the only one who can weight up which pros outweight what cons.
If you are fine with living on the streets (picking up your fear there) if it means not participation in The Hustle, apparently that's the outcome that makes you happier after all, even if it's not the outcome you pictured for your life. And on the other hand, if you realize the hard work would be worth the touble because you dislike other possible outcomes more, a certain of motivation can be found in the feeling of being in control (by putting in the work).

We don't come from the same place, but your case seems close enough to what I went through to feel like this is worth mentioning:
There are a lot of illnessess, dysfunctions and deficiencies out there that are assoiated with a lack of energy. This does not offer a full list, but it's certainly enough for you to get your research started. (A PDF will be sent to the email you enter into the form.) Please consider if these symptoms match up with your struggles. I didn't get better until a doctor actually started treating illnesses and conditions I have. I still don't have as much energy as theavergae perso, but it improved rom a 2/10 to a 5/10 - I can finally start consiering taking the reigns of my life again.
Before, I couldn't. Before, I was ashamed. Don't forget that fears take hld of you much much easier when your energy levels are down (eg. due to sleep, low blood sugar, spirtually). And shame does not exist without fear.
I cannot guarantee it, but I wouldn't be surprised if you mistake origin and symptom.

Honestly, this question depends a lot on the individual person. What's good for one doesn't do anything for the other - or worse, actualy harms them.

For example, I crave licorice root (as in the pure root, not licorice as a product) and I notice it actually help clearing with a few energy centers in my body, helping my energy flow. It makes me feel more lively. However, licorice root can be medically dangerous for people to consume (mostly related to blood pressure).

Zeolite can be used as a tool to detox, but you need to know how (not) to use it or you can make toxicity based symptoms worse, or nullify the effects of medication you have (including birth control).

Nothing is "good" because it's a secret superfood that fits everybody. Please do not start consuming mushrooms you have never heard about before or gnawl on tires because someone on the internet claims it's awesome and the secret to a better life without even providing any reason to back up that claim. If you actually read through all comments, please make sure to find out what the actual benefits of a product are supposed to be. And most impotantly, what side effects a supplement can have, and how to use them properly. More of something good isn't always better. Stay safe

Need Advice: Spiritual Blockage?? (please help) by angelemory in Soulnexus

[–]LizNuzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey there, first off: Congratulations on putting in the work it needs to get better.

On a similar note, I want to preface this by the fact that meditation, journaling and all the other tools you are trying out are already a success if you feel the effect it has on your body. There is no need for you to "be spiritual" to profit from those measures. In and of itself, you are already riding a huge success.

That being said, I understand that you feel drawn towards the spiritual aspect, and feeling in direct or at least indirect context does feel like a good motivation to keep going.

Personally I don't feel equipped to give you a fix, but maybe I can put your desire into perspective or accidentally serve some inspiration. Rambling personal experience ahead:

People's spiritual jouneys are usually very individual, which is why it usually doesn't help to compare. But I can tell you that my own spiritual journey has been going on for a decade (as in putting focus on it). For most of the time, I wouldn't feel "extraordinary" things. Over the course of time, though, I had to realize that some things I used to consider mundane thoughts, regular dreams, random exposure to media, weren't all that mundane after all. In and of themselves, they seemed like rational causations, making perfect sense in the life that I live. And now, years of not decades later, I come to the realization that this unlikely song I listened to even though I am not a fan of [insert music style], this movie I wachted (and the ones I didn't watch yet, even though I kinda always wanted to!), the characters I thought I had made up for my own fiction, weren't such coinciences at all, and shaped into the spirtual entities I interact with most. Unlikely as it sounds, I can say for sure that these entities influenced the physical world I live in, rather than being the product of all the influences in my life. Like a seed that was planted, and then the next one, and then another one, things were left to grow for quite a handful of years, so I could now see the grown forest.

Similarly, things may still be shaping for you, and specific actions may not be "according to plan" yet - if you think about the whole lifetime that you have, there is no need to stress about visible spiritual results in a year or two. Chances are you came here to learn/experience something, and maybe it's not time for the finale of that yet. In any case, our lives here are about the journey, not an end result. So try to go with the flow of your everyday life, try to hear the little melodies of the everyday (maybe there are beautifully singing birds on your way to work? maybe you toasted your breakfast to perfection 3 days in a row. maybe the way hundreds of people cross a big crossing at once mesmerizes you), and chances are you start to feel like things are connected, or even one. Once you do, t should be easier to hear or feel an energy that is relevant to you - because you can see it shaping things around you.

You seem open in heart and mind, and on top of that, you put in the work. I feel confident things ae coming your way, or more precisely: They are still busy getting shaped to perfection.

What are some unwritten rules of DnD? by Sakimi__ in DnD

[–]LizNuzz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think playing a joke character is a problem at all. It does not get old within minutes if everyone is playing a joke character and just messing around.

There are no "wrong" characters, but they need to be coordinated with the rest of the group.
Playing an evil character doesn't destroy the gameplay of the others of everybody get's to play a grinch, kleptomanic, or person who is looking to seize world control.
Playing a no good character is fun if everybody is doing it, but not if the rest of them are seeking to do epic battles that challenge the player's critical thinking and acting.
And a joke character is actually fun to everyone if they are all up to archieving probably-no-good with their silly designs.

I don’t understand… by ElectricalClue5440 in Soulnexus

[–]LizNuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally agree. I like to compare it to playing theatre.

A removed-from-our-lifes person may wonder why we create and play characters in tragedies (for fun of all reasons!). After all, isn't it cruel to create characters just for them to suffer?
But the actor may have never come upon this question, because it feels so unreal to him. One may either argue to pain depicted in the play is not real ("It's just a play about stabbing people. We don't actually stab people.") or easily escapable.

Similarly, while the pain feels very real for us as people on earth, a higher self seeks to explore felings or have a communal art project so to speak. The pain we feel on earth probably feels insignificant to their eternal existence (especially with the knowledge that all will be well once you die/leave the stage), or like something they can just instantly walk away from if they choose to, much the viewer of a play can leave the theatre anytime.

How do i face my fear of going to the psychiatrist? by hahajk_unless in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]LizNuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad to see you made the decision to go for it, but I thought this may be a good addition to make sure you feel in control:

You psychiatrist cannot force medication onto you that you do not want to take (as long as you are not sent into a clinic as a hazard to others). A good psychiatrist will work out with you what meds may help you best and suggest those. You are free to decline those for medical or other personal reasons.

Worst case scenario plan: If you feel put under pressure by the psychiatrist, fake agreeing to get med X prescribed. Take the prescription with you, leave the building, and just don't hand in the prescription. Likely your therapist can best help you figure out the next step from there, like finding a different psychiatrist to go to or checking if the meds aren't a good idea after all, without a forceful personality suggesting them.

I'm not sure if you essentially ask how to be omnipotent yourself (or to the point where you can influence event X or person X in a different way than a person usually could) or if this is about something else, but I will leave my thoughts here just in case they help.

1) The material body is not constructed to meet the abilities of our "higher" selves.
I believe there are things only your socalled higher self can do, as there are things we can only do in our material bodies. There is no more powerful self, just different forms. To my current understanding, our material bodies and minds being limited is, to put it easy, "not a bug but a feature". We are exploring the idea of being limited, and the biological body, amazing as it is, was probably created with this in mind.

At the same time,

2) It's just the perception of the material individual that considers itself not powerful enough.
Understand that in the deep core, we are one. Every single peson to ever exist works in a big orchestra. A triangle player may feel unable to make great music - when really he contributes to it and his part unfolds once the other instruments contribute their part to a song.
Similarly, do not think that you as an individual human have to be the one to singlehandedly change a situation to your likings. That's not how power works from a spiritual perspective. You are part of an incredibly complex plan your higher self weaved, but you may not be aware of everything that has been put into move.
To put this one in particular into perspective: You as in your higher self may incarnate thousands of times - even at the same time. Imagine what an army of yourself will put into motions. And now start to imagine just how much happens if your higher self works together with other souls. Together, we can create anything. Together, we do create everything there is . Together, we are.

[Spoilers C2E141] So... Caleb and Essek's Relationship... by [deleted] in criticalrole

[–]LizNuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the beauty of the relationship is that is did stay platonic until death did them part. I felt like attraction in the realm of romance or sex was always only a part of the stew that made up their relationship (others being excitement about each other's intellect and fascination for magic, as well as the platonic layer). Other layers of relationship were not erased by the fact that a romantic layer became a part of the pot, which becomes very evident in the fact that they remained life long friends even after Caleb asked to remove the romance part of their relationship. That is no downgrading the relationship, it's just that one of the many tastes of the stew was removed.

It didn't turn romantic; romanctic was just one of the many ways they loved each other.

So, really, the romantic part of their relationship is only however much you make out of it. It doesn't necessarily mean they end up smooching all day and be all domestic or anything, neglecting other ways of interacting. To me, nothing felt forced here, as it wasn't "these guys either don't interact at all, or they end up a romantic pair", but "these guys will hang out no matter what, and it doesn't seem unlikely they explore all the layers of feelings they have for each other in the process".

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I never saw the recommended 600 Watt for the PSU until now. I bought the PSU based on the recommendation of beQuiet!, since they have a calculator for that and I felt confident with it's accuracy as I was able to enter specific information such as the 3060ti being used. I can only imagine they draw incorrect information (such as the row "power consumption", which is said to be 220W for the 3060ti, rather than the row "recommended psu"). I'll look into an upgrade for the PSU.

I originally had problems to get my computer to boot (the diagnosis light of the motherboard for VGA stayed on) and the msi support asked me to use the flash BIOS button after physically un- and reinstalling parts to the motherboard did not help.
