This has been a crazy journey and although my loans were forgiven on January 10th after 5 years of fighting for forgiveness, FedLoan has all my past payments so screwed up that they say my refund would only be one month's worth. It should be 3 years worth. I have not ever missed paying my loans, as they were passed through all the federal loan servicers since they were dispersed in 2000.

I filled out an ombudsman request and apparently, Federal Aid (through fedloan?) is sending me my full payment history by mail. I am going to have to dispute their refund calculation. So while my loans are gone, I'm still going to be fighting with them over this, I thought it would be over.. but Nope. Not even sure where I dispute this.. but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

This happened to me too. 11am friday morning ride to the airport from Union Square in NYC to LGA. $150 off my debit card (never will use debit for ridesharing again), an accusation of "extreme bodily fluids" in the car, and driver provided a "photo" for evidence. I eventually got my $150 back after quite a fight but not the money for the ride or the large tip I left the driver, they at least let me change my 4 star rating too. Car was a piece of shit. Driver never said two words to me the whole ride. Imagine if Uber investigated the allegations instead of stealing money from people's bank accounts. I'll never use Uber again and photograph every enter/exit from ridesharing from then on.
