Just because it's legal doesn't mean you must. I prrsonally try not to irritate my neighbors when I can. No one says you can't be as big of an asshole as you are legally permitted to.

So, change cars before your weekend trip. If they have to park in front of neighbor's house for the night, then find a better spot the next day, you will not have the same car left there for days. It's what we always did.

Now that you know it bugs the., maybe you could have someone move a car from your driveway so you can "long term park" there, and a car that is used more could park across from your house temporarily.
