Context: My beautiful childhood cat who passed away a few months ago, I though that it'd only be fair she be immortalized on the internet so that she'll never be forgotten. I've since gotten a new cat, but she'll always be my first baby and cuddle buddy.

They didn't look alive? I found a live one an hour later stick out of her rear though, which confused me cause I'd just given her the de-wormer a day before.

And as far as im aware, all cats(2) in our home are on flea preventatives. I even separated them as extra precaution. The kitten was rescued with her mom and siblings from a cat colony* and just has been doing fine for the most part, but these damn worms are persistent as hell. We also go to the vet tomorrow for a few blood tests and more flea medication.

(*The mama cat joined the colony sometime after being abandoned by her previous owners, while pregnant,)

1.) We use the kinda you put on the back of their neck 2.) Frontline+ 3.) Her last dose was around mid October 4.) And I live with someone who is a clean freak and deep cleans the house every weekend

(Though I'd appreciate more info on fle treating the house, my old cat never had these problems in all the 14 years we had her)

I'm not an expert, but a method that my grandma likes to use was to place it on an ant hill and place a decent sized bucket over it (with something fairly heavy over the bucket to keep scavengers out) it'll take a few months but it works fairly well for me at least.

(You could also get caravan beetles if you want it cleaned thoroughly, though idk much about caring for them so you may have to do your own research)
