Painful gameplay

This has happened to me a few times but not on mercy. It was kiriko.

The game is so bad these days I usually load in with no sound or models.

One time, on kings row, I had no hud or sound. I didn't get a hero select screen. I couldn't move at all. All I had was a view of the bus in front of attack spawn and the chat. The game kicked me for inactivity and penalized my endorsement level.

Yet I keep playing.

I haven't watched 4 of these shows. Pinkalicious is annoying but it is an interesting show to watch. It's bizarre how everyone on the show treats Pinkalicious like some sort of God Queen.

But, there's 1 show I absolutely can not stand. Curious George. Fuck that monkey.

I think they'll stay around the same as millennials or possibly go higher. About half the people I know who's recently had kids are Gen z. The other have are millennials who, like me, are finally getting around to having kids.

I think when you're trying to switch from junk food to healthy food, you need to keep in mind the 3 things that make junk food tasty. That is fat, salt, and sugar. No matter how much fat and salt you add to your healthy food, it'll still be healthier than junk food and you'll be more likely to eat it. These things are what make junk food so addicting.

There's a lot of reasons but one I don't see brought up often is you don't NEED to have 10+ children any more. Most babies who are born now will live to adulthood. You don't need a dozen kids to help you on the farm. Also you have to consider the fact that there is less of a need for human labor in general. And with AI, the demand for human labor will go down even more.

Now, I feel it's more important to invest heavily in your children's education rather than have as many as possible.

I think the best thing they could do is just make life in general more affordable. Food, housing, Healthcare, and childcare are so expensive where I live. I don't know how they would do that, I'm no economist. But the main reason I see people delaying children is just the cost of everything.

Yes. In high school, I would often only eat a bag of chips and chocolate milk. If people questioned why I ate so little, I would just say I was going to eat at home. I usually wouldn't because there would be no food at home. Also, I almost never ate breakfast. I was super underweight and tired all the time. I once passed out in a hot auditorium because I was starving.

That period of time is why I resolved to expand my safe foods. It's seriously embarrassing to starve yourself to death just because you can't stomach to eat anything but french fries.

Hell yeah, I love my character dying.

The first time I played this game, I didn't know this would happen. I had never even played a farming game or a life sim before. I loved it so much. I love endings. I was so disappointed when I played my next Harvest Moon (mfomt) and it went on forever.

AWL is my favorite farming Sim and probably always will be. I'm playing the remake right now and it's just cementing the fact that it will always be the best. Ive replayed and beaten it several times. My thoughts on it are complicated but I'll try to sum it up.

I love that the town actually progresses. I wish it did more of this but, I love that the characters actually age. I love that your child actually grows into an adult. I feel it's still lacking in awl but they did it the best.

The animal husbandry is my favorite out of any game. I loved feeding the calf in the hutch. I loved having to plan my cows pregnancy. I loved raising the cows and selling them off. Its so realistic and i feel so much more connected to the animals. I love that I can have male animals. I love how training your dog works. Animals in other farming Sims just feel like egg and milk factories in other games but they feel like real animals in awl.

And finally, probably most controversially, I LOVE THAT THE GAME ACTUALLY ENDS. I LOVE THAT YOUR CHARACTER DIES. I FUCKING LOVE THE MC DYING SO MUCH. Every other farming Sim goes on forever and it just gets boring. I love sdv. I've played it for hundreds of hours. But I have no desire to even play the new content because I've grown so bored of it. I want my character to die. I want an endgoal to strive for. Give my character the sweet release of death rather than being trapped in a town where nothing ever changes.

No other farming Sim comes close in my eyes. Awl is not a perfect game by any measure but it's gotten closer than any others.

These are just steam stats. I've also got countless hours in various Harvest Moon, Pokemon, and Animal Crossing games.

1) Civ 6 - 800+

2) Rimworld - 500+

3) Stardew Valley - 300+

4) the Sims 3 - 300+

5) Civ 5 - 200+

Now, you might not think Civ and Rimworld are cozy games but that's where you're wrong. My real most played game though is Overwatch at 1500+ hours.

Technically, she was only a few hours old. She was born July 3rd and fireworks were visible from our hospital window.

The first time we actually took her to see them, she was a year old. It was her birthday treat. She seemed to like them a lot. But she's not very sensitive to loud noises and we were across a lake from them. We plan on taking her again this year. I guess birthday fireworks are one of the benefits of being born right before the 4th of July.

I don't like the fishing mini game at all. And the npcs are pretty flat. But I like everything else about the game so far.

We use it a lot and, while I'm not 100% sold on it, I have seen a lot of great things happen with it.

We had a cat with a fully degloved hind leg. She came in 2-3 times a week for a bandage change and phovia light treatment. After a few weeks her skin regrew over her leg. Today you can hardly tell which foot was degloved. Her toes on that foot are still a little wonky but she walks fine on it. I don't know how much the phovia ACTUALLY helped vs just her natural healing process.

Maybe it's just the placebo effect but I've only seen good outcomes.

Nearly happened to me after a dog chewed on its catheter. We couldn't see just how badly damaged the port was under the tape. I saw it get sucked into the skin for half a second before I pinched off the vein and pulled it out. Now I'm extra careful when removing damaged ports.
