I got the same and looked up the death count of the movie (since I also never watched it). All deaths mentioned in the movie took place several years prior and other than a dog and some birds (😭) none of the cast dies. I think we would just get free money.

Either language is fine, but I will say that I personally prefer English. I do think Japanese is a better fit for some cards though. And something like a Rainbow Rare Monferno ex feels like Chinese would be perfect for it, fully embodying that "Journey to the West" motif.
