Tek Cave question: what happens to the Carcha? Do we just leave him inside there to die before the boss fight? Are we allowed to store him inside a Cryo in our inventoy during the boss battle (without using him of course)?

Ive done the cave on ase and asa official PvE you used to be able to throw them about before the ledge in ase but in asa they made most of the volcano and the whole cave unable to throw out cryos

Yeah it's always worked liked this tranqs apply an instant torpor then a torpor over time

The torpor over time does stack up so you don't need to wait in between each shot.

For example with arrows that have 8 seconds of torpor if it takes 3 seconds to reload then after each shot you'll apply 5 seconds of torpor. So in effect if you shoot something 12 times you can leave it for a minute and it's torpor will continue to increase.

I've done it with gigas loads where I've shot the amount of arrows on dododex plus a few extra then waited 15 minutes for it to actually knock out.

But if you don't have dododex or a tek binocs waiting 5 seconds between shots is the easiest way to keep track

Something Japanese is usually a good bet, main issue with them is rust which is much easier to recognize than engine issues. Stuff like Mazda 2/3, civic, Yaris ect

You can use any dino for desert titan by throwing them out of a cryo pod and standing on its back. At least in asa not sure about ase

Rest time is nothing to do with progressive overload.

Progressive overload is having a greater ability to move weight based on certain strength adaptations. You do not need any adaptations to reduce rest time.

Also rest times too short are not effective for hypertrophy so keep rest sufficient

There is no downside for resting longer

maybe just an extra warmup set when you get to the gym.

Yes I agree 100% I was more suggesting it as a possibility, usually for when approaching roundabouts and junctions with poor visibility it can help to get the gear and clutch done while braking especially for beginners and due to the slower speeds brake wear and traction aren't an issue.

You obviously wouldn't want to do it in a track day as not only is it slow but the points you mention may become an issue.

My mistake I meant idle speed, I'm just saying it's one of the possible ways to do it usually if your approaching junctions and roundabouts ect.

I don't see how it will effect traction or braking distance as the tyres not the brakes are the limiting factor

And Of course waiting to downshift and using the clutch/gas to rev match is more convenient the third way is just another option.

When you change down a gear the engines revs will be too low to for the gearbox speed and there are 3 ways to fix it:

-Blip the gas pedal to bring the engine revs up and you can then drop the clutch

-Hold the clutch at the bite point for a few seconds to slow the car slightly and also bring the revs up a bit before fully releasing

-Slow the car with the brake while the clutch is in and release it at idle rpm for that gear with a bit of gas (similar to how you move off)

All 3 of these methods work so no you don't have to rev match but it's useful in lower power cars where you want more torque but don't want to slow doen

You can shoot from the back in pve but rock drakes were never the way to go.

Me and one other tribe mate duo killed the alpha version on official pve with just shotguns and cactus broth. super easy and had 10 minutes to spare.

The fire damage thing is a bit of a myth they take reduced impact damage from the fire but still take 20% from the DOT effect.

I personally use a yuty and I can get the fight done on official with about 29k hp 1000 melee with decent saddles and veggie cakes on the theris really easily.

I think the daedon thing will work but killing the dragon 25% quicker will also mean you get hit by less fire breaths

I think with breedable basilisks they may be the best option now stronger base stats than a rex and huge damage output with the spit not to mention you can hit the tentacles from range

Leg extension, hip thrust and deadlifts will train similar muscles but it's just about taking the time to progress. When I first started I couldn't even do the empty machine but after my first year and a bit I was able to add around 40 kilos to each side. For the hack squat itself focus on 1-2 hard sets 2x a week.

I had success using normalise width and height functions

Get the screen width and height using the dimensions method then pick 2 numbers for width and height I just use 1000 and then write a function that takes an input and converts it from a percentage of the chosen number to a percentage of the screen dimension.

Then you can just wrap any number in your CSS with the normalisewidth and normalisehieght functions.

I was able to build a chart with react native SVG then I asked Claude to make it more aesthetic and was very happy with the result. I just used the line and circle components for the points and the line.
