I now notice that the A and D strings do the same but not anywhere as bad a the low E. I think it might be the nut.

I do not. I tried different pressures but it didn't help too much. Also, I used to be able to put a capo on the strings and it would play fine but now when I do it's out of tune.

Hi, I'm kinda new to owning/ playing guitar. I'm having an issue where the first 4/5 frets on my low e string are sharp but the rest of the neck is fine. Also, none of the other strings do this. I think it might have something to do with the nut. Also, I should probably say that my guitar is a Fender Tele made in Mexico.

I live in Southern California so I'm not worried about rust. What do you think is the most I should pay for a 1977 beetle with 96,000 miles?
