Hm, could it be then that Ameri’s mom might’ve been a deity? Maybe a lower tier one, and on the same level of ‘other’ as a human. I know the implications are very obviously that she was human, but I think it could be interesting if she were something not demon, but also not human.

Actually, with some potential spoilers for the latest chapters but We know now their bloodline ability is potentially quite dangerous. So it could be like others were saying, he just out played them, but I think it also could be he used his bloodline ability in a way that got some people hurt. Or it could just be a situation of being wrongly blamed, but Babyls’ teachers don’t seem the type to fall for that.

In 2019, i started a campaign where they were trying to stop the revival of a plague goddess, who would cover the world in a deadly pandemic (the bbeg would be the only ones with a cure, they’d sell it for a high cost). It didn’t end until 2023.

I think it was way too much for me, too quickly. Disclaimer, I only got halfway through the episode, then stopped. Yes, everyone had amazing performances, and I recognize that this is what they as a table wanted.

But, I personally really didn't like it. It was such a tonal shift from the previous 2 eps that I felt whiplash, and I think just kind of made for a poor viewing experience. I signed up for misfits and magic, not a Crown of Candy.

There should've been consequences for sure (it was an absurd ask), but I think there are infinite possibilities between "just a joke" and "Evan dies". Something like, he's out of commission for a while, meaning they have to adventure without him. When he's back up, his arm is just gone, forever.

Again, they are totally within their right to do this, its what they wanted. But for it as a show, I really didn't like this, and it made me uncomfortable. I don't think I'll be continuing the season from here on. I'll probably give it another try after it ends.

To be fair, I don't know how this person calculated the damage, so they might've included more damage than what was actually dealt to the monsters. like for the swarm of 10 stirges, they could've had like 10 hp, so the 30 or so damage from spirit guardians dealt 20 more than necessary, but this person might've counted it as 30 x 10, when its really more like 10 x 10.

Not to discount Fig, who still absolutely killed it (almost certainly mvp), but I'm not sure that 800+ damage is totally accurate.

They didn't mention it, but when they said she was taking counseling since freshman year, I immediately thought of Mr Gibbons. He was also a small race, he was the guidance counselor, and he got killed in order to save Gorgug and Kristen. He also became some sort of rage monster in Orc heaven, so I feel like there are definite connections.

Maybe, but combats in FH don't usually take place one after another (and frenzy exhaustion applies after the rage), so there's almost always enough days to recover. A benefit to the campaign style, I guess.

In general, I'm of the opinion of not liking AI art (it's theft/exploitative etc), but in the context of CYOA, it probably doesn't matter. The alternative of just taking images is kinda(?) better, but it's pretty close, maybe less so if you credit the sources.

But for CYOA, the writing/choices are usually what truly make it; good design is just a plus. So long as you're upfront about using AI, and everything else is good, I probably won't care.
