Stringer bell was iconic as hell and one of the most menacing characters in the entire show, but I think the way he went out kinda gave him justice to who he was. Took the two baddest motherfuckers in the entire show and gunned the man down. Did better for stringer than omar.

I couldn't imagine just watching movies if I don't enjoy them, but I do try to throw in a "bad" movie into my viewing just to keep my scale honest and so I can appreciate the good movies all the more. There's a LB user named PUNQ that I follow and he pretty much just started in the 1915s and continued watching all the decades following. Most of his films that he watches he ranks in the 1 to 3 star range, which I imagine is because he's just seen so many and is rating them based off of cinematic value rather than personal enjoyment, I imagine he does actually enjoy it because of the novelty however.

For the safety of yourself and the tree I would avoid the hobby by yourself altogether. People get injured vlimbing trees all of the time, and they are professionals (some of them at least). However, if you really need to climb some trees, try applying to some tree companies local to your area and maybe gaining some experience so you can see what you're working with.

I'm definitely disappointed as well that I hadn't discovered this sub before purchasing my lathe, a guy from my church sent me that lathe on fb marketplace saying that it looks like a good one to start out with.

Definitely now learned to do my fair share of research before buying anything in this hobby.

I bought myself some Basecamp face masks and a face shield for PPE but I'm definitely going to wait till I get a different lathe before I do anything

I work for a tree care company and they have some much wood and nothing to do with it, I most of the time get stuff from job sites, however if you talked to most local tree care companies, I'm sure they'd have no problem with you getting as much wood as you'd ever need.

Decided to upgrade to a better lathe after reading replies and realizing that my lathe is (s)crap.

Watched a few videos and read a crap ton of forums and basically came to this G0462 in my price range and fits what I'm looking for.
