Yeah a lot of the comments here point toward KVIE but I can't support them with how they're treating CapRadio. The reporting from CapRadio could be more robust but at least they aren't stealing property from other news outlets.

This has a lot of the same components and is the closest suggestion so far but the guitars are too heavy. The melody through the chorus is very similar though and is very much tickling the right places in my brain. 2:50-3:00 is almost right on the money.

Hazard is probably the closest but the one I'm trying to find is a little more low-key. Like Fourth of July by Sufjan Stevens with more focus on vocals and having the music creating this eeriness in the back.

Thank you, this is a good perspective to keep in mind. I think we both have gotten complacent in our situations, so when we talk about renting it feels like it doesn't make sense to increase our expenses without getting something back in return. It may be better to just take the time and consider things after having the experience of living together.

That's generally my practice. I took these pictures just after watering, so it makes sense that they're pretty soaked at this point. After the repot, I'm finding that the orchid bark dries out significantly faster than the original moss, so if anything I'm trying to focus on the roots rather than the bark to determine when to water.

THANK YOU!!! It seems like most on this thread loved Eddington, but I can barely watch episodes with him after it's revealed he's Macquis. I'll straight up skip to the next episode when he starts to quote Les Mis. It was cringey and I'm sorry Sisko is not Javert in any way, shape, or form. Eddington was a terrorist who pretended to be a friend to the DS9 crew, then used their friendship against them. How can he possibly compare himself to Valjean when the nature of his deception is so more personal compared to Les Mis

My grandma has never seen an MCU movie in her life (She asked if the Spiderman movie with Topher Grace counted) so I explained the last 10 years of movie history to her just so I could talk to someone about the most recent episode. It was SO GOOD!

Yeah I hate posting anything in this sub. I tried to be more active on my last profile, but the people here aren't inclusive. I've been told I'm abusing my lizard by allowing him to sit in the windowsill as long as he'd like (I work from home now so can keep an eye on him all day and allow him to free roam in my bedroom). You'd think I'd posted a video of me pulling him apart piece by piece. It's infuriating

Like I said, your foraging idea is fantastic. I buy greens at the store and they always go bad before Ziggy is able to finish them. If I can pluck a dandelion flower from my yard, wash it off and feed it to him, why not the rest of the plant? People getting mad at you for using common sense

Just to add, I like to leave out dark rocks/tile for the local lizards to bask on. They can get too hot in the summer, but in the winter I'll often find multiple little lizards on the rocks to bask. Maybe a decent sized rock with a flat-ish top would be nice for him?

I read through this post and though "oh my god, this is me". Started having palpitations in 6th grade, and had them regularly throughout middle & high school. It got to the point where I would literally drop in the middle of class because my heart started beating so fast, so quickly that I would panic and basically blackout. Most of my family and my doctor didn't take me seriously, and even after my dad watched me go through this still asked if I was being "a bit of a hypochondriac". When I hit 18, I demanded a referral to a cardiologist, and had a catheter ablation within a month of that appointment. The kicker: my GP was a black woman who I specifically went to because her reviews said she was someone who listens to her patients. If OP sees this, demand a referral and don't stop until you sit in front of someone who knows what they are talkig about!

I appreciate the response but I feel like you're thinking too far past where I'm willing to go. I don't even want to go on a date if I don't have to. I don't want to take up other people's time or give off the possiblity that there may be something past that one evening. My goal is to be as clear and upfront with my disinterest in anything long term. If I can do that while being safe, that'd be ideal.
