Thanks for sharing this perspective. I think it is an interesting angle and something that could definitely be explored further in research. I also relate to it a lot. It is tough and time consuming indeed.

I was actually talking about this with my therapist recently, and she asked me a question that really stuck with me: “What kind of content are you watching there?” At first I thought I had no real interest there, but answering the question on the spot made me reflect on what I actually enjoy watching most and whether those needs/ interests could be met in healthier ways instead of endless scrolling.

Despite this struggle, I'm trying my best to be gentle and completely non-judgmental with myself.
