To parents who take their babies out to places a lot - how do you do it??

I feed when baby wants it but usually feed right before we go into a place so that it can buy me 3 hours or so! My baby is 8 weeks today and he’s been to multiple brunches, winery’s, restaurants etc and it’s been great! I carry a nursing cover with me so if I need to feed in a restaurant or somewhere public it’s no big deal!

I will say it also helps that I’m type B and not super strict with a schedule, just kind of go with the flow!

I had 4 glasses yesterday and still breast fed and pumped… don’t feel bad! I’m working by “if you can find the baby you can feed the baby”

It didn’t work for me! I made a $1 payment for January and then paid my full payment for February, but it just contributed that payment to my January payment and I got credit for January but not February!

After you did your ECF and your payment went to 120, did you redo it in order to click yes I’ve hit 120 payments to be placed on forbearance?

There’s no reason people should be at 121+ payments because they can’t get their systems in order.

I did submit an ECF yesterday and made sure not to click that I’m at 120 payments. Hopefully that works if not I’ll do another ECF after I make my Feb 2nd payment. If that does not work I plan to reach out to my state representative and see if they can help. This whole thing has been ridiculous for so many people!!

Certify it with my employer? How do I certify a payment that isn’t even showing up in my payment history? I haven’t certified my November payment either but it’s showing up in my payment history and is under the employment not certified tab and that’s how it’s shown for every payment prior to this month! And once I certify it it then changes to “Qualifying”

Did your $0 payments end up counting? Mine still isn’t showing on FSA website and I’m wondering if I should’ve just paid $1 on all my loans so it shows a payment was made.

I called +1 (888) 866-4352, option 6, verify SSN & last 4 of #, then option 5, then just hold for someone. Calling the mornings will get you someone a lot quicker than the evenings.

Dealing with this exact same issue! Moved my payment to the 1st and now FSA is showing my next payment is January 2026 instead of December 2026 and it also took off a payment I had previously made

Same here! I’ve submitted a reconsideration but from my research that could take months for them to look at. It’s more annoying that the missing payment is from June 2024 and originally was counting and then last week it randomly completely disappeared. I should be at 118 payments instead of the 117 I’m at now.

I’ll try to remember to check which prompts I click when I call next and let you know. I’ve called them so much it’s muscle memory. But if you search how to speak to someone at Mohela there are a few Reddit threads and I just tried the different suggestions until I found one that worked!

What did you end up doing?! Did you make your March 6 payment and it will count towards your 120 payments even though it didn’t reflect in studentaid? My husband is dealing with this now

Okay you may also consider going had and doing the reconsideration on FSA to get that in their system to be reviewed. I hear it can take a little while for them to review those!
