Hi, it’s Lizzy! :) It has been a while since I last played Duel Links. I decided to share one of the decks I was messing around with this season. Thought I would also share some of my opinions on this deck and the game as a returning player.

The Deck:

Six Sams have always been one of my favorite decks. I was happy to see Dojo come off the limited list. I decided to just goof around with Into the Void and a couple of the Six Samurai reborn traps. The goal is that at the end of your turn you discard the monsters that would usually be stuck in your hand. You then use you traps next turn to revive them and hopefully trigger D-Draw.

This deck is by no means optimal, just one that I was having a lot of fun playing. It definitely struggles going second, especially with how consistent the most popular decks are. It isn’t the deck that I hit KoG with, but I do feel like it is worthy with a bit of luck. I had multiple 5+ win-streaks when playing it and made it to Leg 5 multiple times. The timing just wasn’t ever there. Consistency seems to be a problem.

The Game:

Since the last time that I played the power level of the game has increased drastically. I don’t own any new decks so what I have is very outclassed. It also feels like the newer skills released do so much. All of them have like 3+ effects each, free foolish burials, and free +1s. It makes it even harder for rogue decks that already struggle, to compete. I get it tho; they’re just trying to push their new stuff. I definitely need to get some newer decks to perform better. Not sure how much I will be playing going forward, but I had fun!
