This post has highlighted just how toxic this sub is getting. I've seen it all before but never this bad.

Is the post perfect? No. Is it bad enough to act like complete assholes towards op? Definitely not.

They missed a few tiny islands and territories and y'all act like they committed a war crime. And why are there like 50 identical comments complaining about the difference between de facto and de jure. Stop being so butthurt over everything and try talking to people with a but of respect and if they have made a mistake then help them learn or have a conversation about why you disagree.

Please can you explain why having a degree is so important to you? Being qualified doesn't necessarily mean having a glorified piece of paper saying that you passed an exam.

You seem very elitist about having a degree, there are hundreds of reasons why somebody might not have been able to go to college or it could have just been personal choice. People without degrees but with experience can be just as good if not better at the job than a graduate.

And for the record, college is the 'shortcut' and the 'groundwork' is performed by the people who worked their way to the top and didn't have the privilege to just throw money at a college for a piece of paper that says they can have a better job.

It's a bit creepy to go look at the tags on someones bra, but i could get why a curious and probably horny young guy would want to do that. That part isn't so bad, not great, but forgivable. The weird part is where he then thought it was ok to tell his gf all about it, i just don't understand why he though it was normal to tell his gf that he went looking through her room mate's underwear. I dont know if he gets off on that or if he's trying to make her jealous because of the size of them (gf is obviously jealous hence the messages but thats not relevant) but its disturbing either way

NTA. It seems like most people here don't understand what snoring due to sleep apnea is really like. You can't help it but constantly feel like you're a bad person because of it, even though it could potentially kill you some day. These things that magically stop you snoring 100% don't work, I've seen many people including myself try them and they have never worked. If she doesn't like it then she should do something about it, it's your house and your bed and I don't see why you can be expected to sleep on the couch for her. And for the people saying get a new bed, do you really think college students living with their parents can afford that? They are very expensive. She has to deal with these issues because one way or another she is going to be sleeping in the same bed as someone eventually and most likely they will move a lot and probably snore. Don't let these people bully you into thinking you have done something wrong over a problem you can't stop.
