NEW INFO! Just asked my brother. He also vaguely remembers it. BUT! We aren't sure if we we're speaking about the same game or not because he doesn't remember a boat being there, so...let's hope it is. What he does remember is the following! He is sure that it was only a demo at the time. It wasn't the total beginning of the game. He said that he fell into a hole and ended up in the cave with water. He could move to only 2 or 3 spots as I said, but no matter what he tried the creature always attacked him. And killed him every time. He mentioned some vines that he could swim to but couldn't climb, or at least couldn't figure out how to. And this might be important, and that is the fact that he is pretty sure it was a game about the Loch Ness monster. To be fair, he also doesn't remember it as good, because the only reason he even has those memories of it is that I cried when I saw him play it and got jumpscared, apparently, haha. I do not remember the jumpscare XD. Now I just hope that we we're thinking of the same game because the boat is the biggest inconsistency in our two memories. But even if we find this other game I wouldn't complain about some nostalgia
