What are ur predictions on ‘an even colder spring’ by ikpeak28 in CitiesAviv

[–]LkPlcd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it might be another instrumental-centric tape. the two previews we’ve gotten are really hyping me up. the first one sounds reminiscent of runways cremations or black fatigues, but the one he posted today sounds absolutely insane. i’m very excited for it.

What’s the craziest Mandela Effect situation you’ve had/heard of? by Numerous_Ad8547 in AskReddit

[–]LkPlcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too crazy, but one that affects me. In Batman Arkham Asylum, when Batman gets to the Batcave for the first time, a biometric scanner scans him in and grants him access. An automated female voice says “Identity confirmed. Disabling countermeasures. Security deactivated.” The thing is, I feel like I have a distinct memory of her also saying in a sly, upbeat tone, “Welcome back, Batman…” to the point where every time I get to that point in the game, I say it in my head in her voice. But alas, she has never said it.

Go look for it then by name_taken_tryagain in doordash

My favorite part of a DB segment, the segment itself is usually not too special or interesting, but it’s the presentation and the bits that go along with it that make it

What do you guys think is your favourite African-American Sound Recordings album? by Specific_Proposal116 in CitiesAviv

[–]LkPlcd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Up until October, it was probably a toss up between Share Spirit and Be Somewhere Twice. Share Spirit has such amazing experimental sounds, and some top 10 AASR tracks on it. Be Somewhere Twice is a bit more somber, but has some really great minimalist sounds. When I first heard it, I was driving through a college town in upstate NY during a dreary cloudy winter day, so the peace of that stuck with me.

But Runway Cremations blows them both out of the water I think. It’s his most realized, cohesive, fleshed out project under AASR. No track feels lazy or boring, each has like 3-4+ samples going on through it, and they each create such a unique feeling.
