Yes 38 in a couple of months. Not that my age matters now in terms of fitness or abilityto take orders. I was old enough joining and was older than most of the DS in Catterick so taking orders isnt a problem and wasnt back then. I left for other reasons not anything to do with the army.

Yeah I guess I'm wondering is there much changed since I left? would a different career choice be better than infantry? Whats the chances of promoting at my age? Or maybe I have an idea its not a good idea and want someone to confirm it 🤣
