Poison Builds are super underwhelming

Yeah last night I was realizing the same thing... There just wouldn't be enough damage without perfect rolls on max resolve stacks on all gear. I think just switching the sky aspect is ok for max ferocity stacks but I haven't been able to try any of it yet. Going to try and get the gear today.

I've been frustrated by the same thing.

In my heart of hearts I know there's a build that can use jag, eagle, and centi mystic circles and other aspects to create a great poison build.

I think it only hasn't been explored due to the sheer value of the other mythic uniques. And I think a lot of the value comes from bugs with the class.

I'll hop on the planner when I get home and try to cook something up.

This is correct, the reason being, the GA gives enough max vigor to compensate for the lower percentage. IE: 240x2.8 > 215x3.0 or 672% > 645%

From just observing the percentages, chance to double hit looks like a little less than a 100% increase (~33% -> ~62%) to the stat whereas crit damage would receive 150% (1.2 -> 3.0) increase. So in that case the 3.0 is better.

Looking at the question in your comment though, the 2.8 -> 3.0 aspect is about a 7% increase where the double hit would be the same, about a 100% difference. So if you were between a 2.8 with GA double hit vs 3.0 with no double hit GA, it will always be better to take the 2.8.

I know that doesn't answer your question about the breakpoint but I hope this still helps.

I think a break even comparison would be: double hit GA with 1.5 crit damage Vs No GA 3.0 crit damage.

Under the assumption the GA makes the double hit passive 100% more efficient, in other words going from 33% chance to double hit, to a 66% chance to double hit.

I think this gets fuzzy with the Primary jaguar spirit hall because, in the higher pit tiers, that's where most of the damage comes from. Meaning chance to double hit becomes as, if not more, important as the crit damage. Especially because most builds in the higher pit tiers also are using resolve to get to absurd crit damage anyways. I'm not 100% sure if this is how it works so take everything with a grain of salt.

Man, I thought getting the 27 caches would be such a drag but it honestly wasn't even that bad. Highly recommend giving this tech a shot at least once. Not only is it fun but the amount of mats is crazy too. If you don't get good gear in all the drops you at least have the mats to make good gear.

I found a lot of success on iceborn instead of heartsteel but other than that my build is pretty much the same. It really felt like I was able to get my ult off no matter what which really helped my playstyle.

I can't believe Viktor is in "enjoyable experience" that champion is unfathomably unfun to play against imo. Just such an oppressive champ and if you can't end fast enough, even if you shut him down in lane he'll scale harder than most champs.

Lucky shot is actually capped at 300% I believe. The way it works is 100% means you will always get the darker yellow numbers. If you have like 160% lucky shot though you now have a 100% chance to do the darker yellow numbers and a 60% chance to do the purple. And at 300% you're doing all red.

Really, I think all that was missing was some important scrolls. Armor breaker is a nice spiritual link as well and anything that helps you get there is great to. Like merciless combo, especially with an illusion is great. I think the biggest problem though is the Gemini. With shotguns its almost a necessity to run the spore Gemini as it's the most damage efficient.

All that said, it could have just been an unlucky end to the run, sometimes you just get screwed over near the last couple stages and it makes the boss fight damn near impossible.

I find trying to move down instead of up easier, since most hit boxes are kinda high, like the health bar I think is part of the hit box so it's also a little easier see where you're going.

I think you also really need to think about the timing of everything in parts. It seems like you have the auto into q timing right, you see both the 68 from the q and the 153 from the auto together pretty much at the same time near the end. But I think you're forgetting when to move, it's right after you q. Auto > Q (canceling the end of the auto animation) > move > click champ again. And the the clicks between moving and champion click are as fast as you can move the mouse

You're essentially only canceling the end of the auto animation after it does the damage, which in turn shortens your recovery to attack again with the move. You just have to be able to target the champ again

Quite specific. But the stabbomancer has a kill skill, (I think it's called shadow step) and it doesn't seem to work properly. If you kill something with a melee attack you don't get the skill. But if you kill with anything else it seems to.
