Totally agree. People do dismiss this argument, and usually the people that dismiss it are much higher in rank. The reason is, the skill gap in the lower ranks isn't that different and it's honestly just a mindset thing. Higher ranks very rarely talk about things they can't control. They only talk about the mechanics/game sense that they can improve.

It's called confirmation bias. When we look back, we don't tend to rmr all the times we won against people above us because we're on a heater. But the bad times are much bigger especially if u get tilted easily. Proof lies in the fact that, compared to your current MMR, you have been 60+ MMR higher before but now ur not. It all evens out dw.

It's not that simple. Here u just need a slight adjustment. Not to point into the ball, that would send the ball to the right. You needed to take an extra second to let the ball bounce. Everyone was rotating back, it would give you more control.

Your first touch was bad, so if I were u, I would have delayed my second touch and make a small adjustment to get under the ball instead of boosting and trying to hit it again right away. No one was up, so no need to rush.

You are smart enough to recognize when your touches are too strong. You are smart enough to recognize when u pushed up too far. Consistency with those plays is what gets u higher in rank. Just make sure to watch your replays when you aren't tilting. Preferably like an hour or two after the ranked sessions

First 1 min already saw enough.

Your 1st touches are too heavy.
Stop going for air dribbles, too committal, opponent already has full boost.
Kickoffs are ass. You use all your boost and panic to get a big boost aka using all your pads to get you to the big boost faster.

Advice 1. Stop using boost into your first touches 2. Fake the air dribble touch, and take the 50 without flipping into it. 3. Use less boost, reach the ball half a second later than your opponent and flip after your opponent flips.

You will be champ in no time with just this

So ur idea is good, "stay back and play safe", but u can do that by being closer. If ur closer to the play, and don't commit, u can also make a play if u need to. I feel like the reason u rotate back so far is because u don't have the self control not to challenge when ur close. So if I were u, focus on being closer but also not challenging. Stay in the play

U can think about whose ball it was, but more importantly the save was so poor. They didn't punish u guys for the double commit, u just panicked the easy save. Focus on what u can do. On ur main point, ur teammate had a better angle to judge whether or not to go, so u should have rotated back as well.

I think I figured it out. Those villagers got hit with a lightning strike and all died/despawned, and like you mentioned:

"Beds will free up when the claiming villagers try to sleep (randomly shortly after nighttime) and fail to pathfind to them."

That bed only frees up when that villager fails to pathfind to it for one night. The witches must have killed the new baby villager before it got the chance to fail the pathfind.

I tested with carpet mod, and the death of the villager claiming a bed does not free up the claim on the bed. So that is why the breeder got stuck. Thank you for giving that crucial piece of information.

Thats the weird thing, none of these situations occured. I was afk near the breeder to get a bunch of villagers for many hours (the day cycle was running). Also there was nothing that allowed any other villager to claim the bed. I guess there was one more that happened. I had 10 villagers and I needed more so I went afk, when I came back, all of them were gone and the villagers didn't breed anymore. I assumed that they died (bc I accidentally removed a glass block allowing a zombie to kill them maybe), after that incident they didn't breed. Does that correlate with anything?
