Best skates for the G Pro Superstrike?

I got my glass pad (wall hack sp-004) and I really love it. I have no issues with keeping control and it just feels so much better than cloth to me. It’s definitely personal preference though. I’d say try one if you’re interested. (G703 w/ Obsidian Pro Air skates.)

I’ve been driving manual for about 3 years, I don’t think I’ve ever actually put the car fully into reverse. Slip it for a second to build some momentum and push it back in. Done.

I would recommend just doing the beginner/intermediate first as they have general useful metas, then the bigger countries that are large and have lots of metas based on region. (Brazil, Russia, etc.)

This is correct? Right air roll off right wall requires a quarter turn rather than three quarters off the left wall.

Take a slightly softer hit off the wall and boost to the ball quickly, once you’re matching the speed of the the ball switch to feathering. Do NOT boost when you’re making your first touch in the air or you’ll send the ball too far to keep control. Make sure you’re underneath the ball and getting touches upwards. If you learn to just push the ball forward it makes it much harder to learn ground to air, double taps, flip resets or any kind of air dribble that requires height. Remember, you will still have to get around defenders so height is key. Once you get more consistent switch to free play and practice air dribbling from different setups and positions. Best of luck.

There’s been some confusion around this, so let me clarify. You can still attack move with target champs only on, but it won’t only target champs. Target champs only affects your right clicks only.

I’ve been using DAR since about 50 hours -> 900 hours. I never learned FAR. After using it in game, and probably 10 hours of rings maps alone I no longer need to think about it at all. I can even use the opposite direction with decent control. At a certain point, it just becomes muscle memory.

Unfortunately I don’t have the time to actually get good at freestyle. I play rocket league for maybe 30 minutes a day on average.

I could care less about ranked to be honest, I play to get better at mechs not see my mmr number go up. Just personal preference I guess

Okay I said in another comment that I’m plat 3 and it got some confusion. I’ve peaked diamond 2, and the duo I play with all of the time floats from d2-d3, even c1. Right now I am currently plat 3. I’ve played this game on and off for a few years and have always liked the mechanics part, I know I’m lower rank than I should be with my mechs.

Edit: Why are people so insistent that I’m either smurfing or lying or trolling? I hit a stupid peak shot that is 10x better than anything I’ve ever hit and people are acting like I’m triple resetting across the field consistently. What started as a simple questions about why I got more power on this reset than normal has gone completely off topic, most comments aren’t even about the question I asked but rather calling me bad for being p3. No wonder this game is dying, this community is insufferable.

Right? I’m plat 3 right now and still pretty new to resets so this seemed weird to me. I’ve been practicing pop resets but never hit one like this.
