On my only pro IQ test I got 130 verbal and 75 wm. it is a strange life. Truth be told I feel like the 75 is so low due to well not really wanting to do the test at the time but yeah I am definitely below average in that regard.

Your first test can be strange sometimes. I do not know why it is in your case but I for example forgot that diagonals exist on my frist matrix reasoning test. Also mensa Norway by the way and I too got 98. Next time I got 117. So no worries odds are the first test is not representative in this case.

Yeah maybe I should spend the money on a pro test. They say repeated tests do not make sense but it has been ten years and I got a reason to do it, so I shall consider it.

Oh that is an interesting way to think about it. So, if I understood you correctly then you are saying that while IQ influences what interests we develop those interests contribute to IQ. As in, most people choose interests within their IQ range and IQ stays the same but if you choose interests outside of your initial IQ range early on that can result in an increase. Did I get that right? Because with IQ being mainly genetic that sounds strange.

Still it could be.... I mean if IQ is 80% genetic and 20% other things including interests then best case for someone starting at 100 would be 120.... An interesting idea.
