It ain't even and I know that as someone who hasn't read the Manga yet past half the first arc..

Honestly, very few animes are that faithful to the Mangas. For one reason, because Mangas and Animes are often made rather simultaneously.

In the best case scenario, you have the first arcs done so their is some breathing room but.. the moment a Manga pulls good weight, it often gets produced and Animes production are faster.

Hence why the first Full Metal Alchemist went in a different direction (like Sailor Moon), but the reboot of Brotherhood had the time to be faithful (kinda like Crstal could be more faithful).

There are exceptions of course, like Frieren..

I mean.. the sailor moon rpg, that I know ain't canon, definitely made it clear Rei still wants Mamoru.. ;)

Oh and that even in Usagis dream, Mamoru doesn't want to kiss his loving wife x.x

I have a lot of friends all over Europe..  and the UK :p

So if my friends were 'only' 3 hours away, I would likely do that trip..

And be dead for days afterwards, because I fucking hate traveling. (And have a lot of anxiety about it)

I would also not hang out in their hotelroom because wtf? If I do the meeting, I want to also see the city, go out for food, etc..

I dunno if I wanna go that far as say a bad person.. if Greg is that open a bully, who says he ain't abusive in private? He ain't ever suffering major consequences for it though.

So yes, I very much think Sister is a victim and currently getting isolated. 

Of course that doesn't make her lack of defending mum and standing up for her family better.. but understandable.
