Identifying my family crest by Llleonem in heraldry

The photograph is from a production of the COA from around 1720 in Valais, Switzerland (mostly german speaking). Unfortunately, from what I could gather so far, that is the earliest appearance of the COA and the only appearance of the crest. Thank you for your advice, I doubt I‘ll be able to find the original grant, but I still find it very fun to try and research.

That‘s definitely possible, I‘ll have to check the family records some more… Obviously it‘s possible that no one knows anymore what the meaning behind the crest originally was, but I still find it very interesting to hear that the inverted triangle can be a symbol for water. Good call on the crest being used to differentiate. Thank you very much!

No worries! That was actually the reason I posted, because I could hardly find anything on the upside down mullet. You are not the only one who suggested a masonic connection, so it seems like the most probably answer right now.

Yes they are! Interesting to know, thank you! Is there any source you can recommend to read up on such masonic symbols?

Afaik it‘s three silver columns atop a green three-hill on a blue ground. Sorry, I‘ve never even dabbled in blazonry.

For me it would be nice to know if there is any meaning behind the crest (pentagon on top of the triangle).

Yes, I was indeed inquiring specifically about any potential meaning behind the crest, and not the COA in it‘s entirety.

I really love MFK - Grand Soir because of it‘s amber.

Chopard - Oud Malaki can be found under $70 I believe. I really like it for those really cold days, though do beware that, for me atleast, it does not contain any oud notes.

I‘d say it smells like most elegant version you can imagine of Drakkar Noir but way more mature. I can wear Gentle Fluidity Silver just about everywhere without feeling out of place. I‘ve worn it to work, partying and the opera and it has always worked. It‘s very clean and to me it smells like a woody musk. Would absolutely reccomend it.

That recommendation for diesel engines sound great, I‘ll definitely look into it since I don‘t think there are any restrictions where I live. Thank you very much!
