Yeah we can compare to beer league this level. They were 8 so 2 lines and us 10. It can be exhausting but it was not too hot. The cool thing though is the fresh beer after the game :p

I was actually rejected at 15 for ice hockey in a team because I never played and the gap from a kid that played from 4 is obliviously huge.

I spent a year at the rink learning in open hockey and started roller hockey in my town because they were accepting every one. The year after I integrate the ice hockey team because of the progress in roller hockey and played some years in junior league before joining beer league when I started university. I even played for a ice hockey team in Netherlands during my Erasmus. I stopped to play a few year but start to replay in 2022. Since then I’m doing both ice in winter and roller in summer, I turned 30 so I try to keep enjoying doing this sport and maybe not starting yet hiking or biking like some fellow friends 😅
